Stelio Fenzo was an Italian comic book artist who began drawing in the magazine Giornale illustrato in 1948. In 1953, he went to work in England for DC Thomson and Fleetway Publications, before returning to Italy in 1962. In the 70's, he began a long collaboration with the weekly magazine of Edizioni San Paolo “Il Giornalino”, for which he created western series such as “Saloon” and “Amar Singh". While working for Il Giornalino, Fenzo drew a number of the Le Tartarughe Ninja comics. In September 2012 he was invited, together with his wife Loredana, to Brussels, where the Minister of Culture awarded him a certificate for his career as a cartoonist. He died at the age of 89 in Venice on April 8, 2022.
