Capitano Stearnes is a recurring character in Le Tartarughe Ninja, based on the 1990 movie and Secret of the Ooze character, Chief Sterns.
History[]
Stearnes is the captain of the New York Police Department and is often the target of reporters' request for comment. One such reporter who especially gets under his skin is the tenacious April O'Neil, although he eventually he mellows out slightly towards her. Another irritant is Doodley, an officer who is always seen accompanying Stearnes. Doodley often undercuts Stearnes' ill-conceived public relations statements by telling the truth about their investigations out of innocence.
Like with April, eventually he becomes tenous allies with the Tartarughe Ninja.
