Statue of Liberty

The Statue of Liberty is a statue on Liberty Island in New York City's borough of Manhattan, given by France to the United States of America and inaugurated in October 1886.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles appearances[]

Shredder tries to blow up the statue in the story "Something Fishy Goes Down" in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Adventures by Archie Comics.

Warrior Dragon defeats the Giant Foot Soldier by throwing it onto the Statue of Liberty in the story "Sun and Steel" in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Adventures by Archie Comics.

In the 1987 TV series episode "Once Upon a Time Machine", during the future scenes set in November 2036, Shredder replaces the Statue of Liberty with a Shredder statue holding a rifle.

Leonardo, Karai and the Ancient One protecting the Keystone

The Keystone, a magic amplifier of solid elemental ectoplasm, is located at the base of the Statue of Liberty. Leonardo, Karai, and the Ancient One must access the Keystone before the Shredder can use it for his own evil purpose. At first they are successful in defending and using its magic, but Shredder eventually uses his dark magic to defeat them.

The Statue transformed

In the 2012 TV series episode "Dinosaur Seen in Sewers!", Zog finds out that the statue was used as a Kraang base. He sets off a beacon from the statue to summon his Triceraton brethren, and fights the Turtles on it. At the end of the battle, Zog purposely plummets to his death from the edge of the statue's torch, refusing a rescue offer by Raphael.

In the Out of the Shadows film, the Turtles cheer their victory atop the Statue of Liberty at the movie's end.[1]

In Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder's Revenge the Foot Clan transforms the Statue of Liberty into the Statue of Tyranny a mecha piloted by Krang which services as the game's penultimate boss. After beating Story Mode with all of the allies rescued, the player is treated to a shot of all of the saved characters in front of the statue, which now is back to normal, but is sporting a large red TMNT-style bandana.
