[Opening sequence and theme song.]
[Open on a full moon night. Pan across the city and then to the Emeryville Power Station. A group of ninjas advance on the station and use grappling hooks to scale the wall and enter the facility. One of the ninjas consults a map.]
Ninja leader "We must tap into that energy source."
[The sound of an approaching vehicles causes them to look down. The Turtle Van speeds towards the facility and crashes through the barbed wire fence surrounding the yard.]
Leonardo "Hit it, Michelangelo."
[The van’s top opens and the Turtles catapult up to the top of the wall.]
Turtles "Turtle power!"
Raphael "I take it you guys don't believe in "No Trespassing" signs."
Ninja leader "Bah! You freaks of nature are no match for our ninja prowess."
Michelangelo "Hey, dude, nobody out-ninjas the Turtles."
[Leonardo engages in a sword fight with the leader while two other ninja tackle Michelangelo.]
Michelangelo "Whoa, dudes, this is no place for roughhousing."
[Donatello pole vaults over two attackers and lands on a metal rail where he works to maintain his balance.]
Donatello "W-w-wow. Talk about a long jump."
[He backflips off the rail, kicking down two ninja in the process. Raphael faces off with a ninja swinging bolas.]
Raphael "Wanna dance, skinny boy?"
[The ninja swings his bolas at Raphael, who catches the chain on his sai. He flings the ninja over the railing, tying off the chain to the metal rail and leaving the man dangling there. As the two ninjas continue to hold Michelangelo down, a third prepares to stab him with a yari. Michelangelo grabs the two ninjas by their faces and bashes their heads together, then kicks the third man away. Leonardo’s sword fight continues.]
Leonardo "You fence excellently. But I have one piece of advice; your backstroke needs work."
[He breaks the ninja's sword in half.]
Ninja leader "We must retreat!"
Raphael "Not so fast, nin-jerk."
[He wrestles with the ninja.]
Ninja leader "For daring to oppose us you will face the fury of Megavolt."
Raphael "Mega-who?
Aah!"
[He grabs the map and it rips in half. Off balance, Raphael falls over the rail.]
Aah!"
Michelangelo "Hang on, amigo.
Have you back in a flash, dude."
[He throws his Turtle Line down and snags Raphael’s leg.]

[Donatello and Leonardo run over to help Michelangelo pull Raphael back up. While they are doing that, the ninjas run away.]
Leonardo "After them."
[They see the ninjas running across the yard and quickly slide down ropes to the ground. The Turtles head back to the Turtle Van.]
Michelangelo "Whoa, talk about a slick exit. Who do you suppose those dudes were?"
Leonardo "And what did he mean, we would face the fury of Megavolt?"
Donatello "Well, maybe we should be careful around common household appliances."
[Raphael opens his half of the map.]
Raphael "I got this thing."
Leonardo "I can't make out what it says."
Raphael "Huh. Must have been written by a doctor."
Donatello "Maybe I could figure it out with my decoding equipment at the lair."
Leonardo "It's worth a shot. Let's go."
[They enter the van and drive back towards the city. Cut to Vernon delivering a news report.]
Vernon Fenwick "This is the third ninja-style attack tonight. There can be no doubt, they are the work of the city's most notorious criminals, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles."
[The Turtles are watching from their lair.]
Raphael "No doubt about it. We've gotta get a new publicity agent."
Donatello "At this rate the whole city will blame us."
Leonardo "Then we've got to find out what those ninjas are up to. Donatello, see if you can get this writing decoded."
[Donatello examines the paper in his workshop.]
Donatello "There's only two full words. The first is Emeryville."
Leonardo "That's the name of the power station where we fought those ninjas."
Donatello "And the other is Green Power. Green Power? Come on!
Green Power is the name of the new alternate-energy research company. They already tried to hit a power plant."
[They run out to the sewer tunnels.]

Leonardo "And Green Power could be where they'll strike next."
Donatello "Right."
[The Turtles are stopped when a laser hits the ground in front of them.]
Raphael "Oh, what now?"
[Soldiers blocks their path. One flashes his identification.]
Wesley Knight "Freeze! Wesley Knight, Colonel US Armed Forces. You four are my prisoners."
[The other soldiers fire on the Turtles, who duck behind a large pipe.]
Donatello "Who are those nutballs?"
Leonardo "I don't know, but if they think they're going to capture us, they're dreaming."
[Leonardo leaps out of hiding, sword drawn, and rushes forward. Donatello follows, using his bō to disarm a soldier and then knocks him down.]
Donatello "Ever get shelled by a Turtle?"
Knight "We've got the tools and we've got the talent. Let's take ‘em, men."
Raphael "Take this, meathead."
[He throws a sai into the barrel of Knight’s gun, destroying it. Michelangelo jumps on top of the pipe, twirling his Turtle Line.]
Michelangelo "Give me that, you militaristic dude."
[He throws the line and yanks the broken weapon out of Knight’s hand. Leonardo attacks the laser generator the soldiers are using. Sparks fly.]
Knight "Hit the deck!"
[The soldiers dive for cover as their weapon explodes. When they look up again, the Turtles have vanished.]
Knight "Hey, where'd they go? I've got orders to put those Turtles away. And I'm gonna to do it."
[The soldiers walk away without seeing the Turtles above them, looking through a street grate.]
Raphael "Who the heck are these guys?
"Dark Water"?"
[He spots the label on part of the destroyed weapon.]
"Dark Water"?"
[Standing across the street from alt-energy company, Leonardo speaks to April on his Turtlecom.]
Leonardo "That's right, April, Dark Water. Know anything about it?"
April O'Neil "A little. What's going on? I haven't heard from you since this ninja crime wave started."
Donatello "Yeah, well, we've had our hands full."
[The group of ninjas approach the energy company entrance.]
April "Dark Water trains the Army's top commandos.
They also create super high-tech military weapons. It's all top secret."
[The ninja leader uses a sai to open the door, and then drops the broken sai on the sidewalk.]

Michelangelo "So, like, how come you know so much about it?"
April "Oh, I dated one of their scientists a while back."
Leonardo "Well, see what else you can dig up on the organization, April. We don't know why, but they're after us."
April "Sure. But what's this all about? And where are you?"
Leonardo "Were at the Green Power building.
Uh-oh. But we may not be here long, later."
[They hear noises from across the street.]

[They see the ninjas running off down the street.]
Donatello "There they go."
Leonardo "We've gotta to follow them. They may lead us straight to their headquarters."
Donatello "And to Megavolt. Whoever he is."
[At her office, April researches on her computer.]
April "Okay, let's see what the files turn up about Dark Water."
Burne Thompson "O'Neil! There's been a break-in at the Green Power building. Ten-to-one it's those Turtles again. Get at it! Go, go, go."
April "The guys said they were just there. But they couldn't have. I'll get to the bottom of this."
