In the story Mini Metalhead, Metalhead encounters four Squirrelanoids, in a septic tank while searching for April O'Neil's tessen.
A Squirrelanoid appears as a member of the Cybernetic Stockman Squad in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Amazing Adventures - Robotanimals! issue 3.
During the fight against the Ninja Turtles and Mighty Mutanimals, it first attacks Tyler Rockwell and Pete alongside Antrax. Then, it joins Antrax, Bebop, Fishface, Rahzar, and a Parasitica Wasp in chasing Michelangelo.
After Donatello reprograms the Nanobots and reverts the Cybernetic Stockman Squad back to regular mutants, it is seen unconscious on the ground.
