Splinter's white blood cells are the white blood cells in Splinter's body. Like any white blood cell they protect his body from infection by attacking unknown organisms. They are microscopic sized Splinter look-a-likes that fight like ninja masters and swarm in groups.

History[]

After running some errands in the city, Splinter and Michelangelo come across a strange device in the sewers. When Splinter approaches it, the device opens and sprays him, causing him to pass out. Mikey takes Splinter and the device back to the lair, where Donatello determines that it was created by Baxter Stockman. As his sensei grows weaker, Don investigates and discovers Splinter is being attacked from the inside by microscopic mousers.

Not only are there micro mousers in his body, but there is also a nanofabrication unit as well. As long as this unit is functional, Splinter's white blood cells will not be able to keep up with the number of micro mousers being produced. Using the Turtle Capsule, the Turtles shrink themselves and enter Splinter's nose to head for his brain, where the nanofabrication unit is lodged. On the way, something strikes the Turtle Capsule, causing it to lose propulsion. The Turtles quickly discover that they are being attacked by Splinter's white blood cells fighting what they believe is an infection. While Don tries to fix the Turtle Capsule, the other Turtles discover that Splinter's white blood cells are extremely tough. Don finally gets the propulsion unit working and they continue their journey to Splinter's brain.

There they discover the micro mousers at war with Splinter's white blood cells. Because of the nanofabrication unit, the micro mousers are being created in droves, too much for the white blood cells or the Turtles to fight off. After one failed attempt to reprogram the unit causes even more micro mousers to be created, Don finally manages to reprogram the unit into creating four ninja mousers. They destroy the nanofabrication unit, cutting off the supply of micro mousers and enabling the white blood cells to deal with the remainder.
