Synopsis

The Silent G's flee the Budget Animal Shelter with the dogs they've captured, but Donatello summons the head of S.H.E.L.L.D.O.N. to follow them. After Gned turns the sound back on locally, Gnarly points out that they're being followed, and Gnarly shorts the drone out with a blast of water.

Down in the Turtle Lair, Splinter is attempting to teach April to get over her stage fright using a method that Lou Jitsu ("a famous actor and completely different person" from him, he claims) utilized, C.A.R.P. - Confident posture, Articulate your senses, Relax your breathing, and Picture the audience dressed like cabbages. Just then, the Ninja Turtles arrive home, despondent at their defeat at the hands of The Slient G's. Splinter sees this as an opportunity to have her work her skills, and she introduces Donnie, Raph, and Mikey, leaving Leo sadly twisting in the wind.

The next morning, April brings Donnie doughnuts, and spies that he's fallen asleep looking over what little footage he could salvage from S.H.E.L.L.D.O.N. before it was short-circuited. April sees the gang on the monitor and realizes they were her co-workers at a previous place of employment, Aquatic MuSEAum. April was the host of the aquarium's daily narwhal showing at the time. She recalls first, Natalie, a tank technician who was tasked with cleaning gross things from the water tanks, and always grumpy. Then, there was Gnarly, smelly dude-bro who was the Susie narwhal's handler. Then there was one she couldn't remember then name of, Nate or Ned, the quiet tour guide who was obsessed with gangster movies and a struggling actor. One day, when April was turned toward the audience, an Oozesquito flew into the aquarium and mutated Natalie, Gnarly, and Ned, freaking out the audience enough to force them to flee, with April not knowing the reason. This is what was the catalyst for her fear of public speaking. April was summarily fired, and shortly after, the entire aquarium shut down. April still had the keys to not only the aquarium, but all of her old jobs, so she offers to take the Turtles there.

While investigating, April comes across a tank that seemingly still has a resident. Unfortunately, it's Gnarly, who breaks out and attacks April, with Mikey barely saving her in time. Then, Gnatalie fires some of her explosive spit at Don's Battle Shell. Raphael knocks them off into a portal that Leo creates, but unfortunately, the portal's other side is behind where Don turns afterward, and they blast him through a wall. However, they do find all of the items and dogs that The Silent G's stole on the other side.

The Silent G's flee in an ice cream truck, but after seeing all of the stolen property all together, Donatello deduces that the reason they stole them all, is because they're all capable of making noise and from the same area. Don finds that they dropped a flier, too, and to April's chagrin, it's the music festival she's supposed to emcee at.

Trivia

  • A Michelangelo ice cream bar is painted on the side of the ice cream truck
  • April's introduction of Raph is "He's the leader of the group, transformed from the norm by the nuclear goop", the line used to introduce him in Partners in Kryme's Turtle Power, which released 18 years before Raph ever did become leader.
