Sonic Disintegrator
The Sonic Disintegrator appears in the 1987 TV series episode Return of the Turtleoid. It is an invention of Winston Sturdley and property of Top Notch Scientific Corporation, which quickly and efficiently disintegrates any material substance in its immediate proximity, as suggested by its name. When Sturdley attempts to demonstrate the device for April O'Neil's live report, it isintegrates both his own wrist watch and the entire lab table, resulting in frustration for Sturdley and prompting a surprised April to abruptly conclude her report. Big Louie and his gang break into the scientific lap to steal it with plans to use it for disintegrating back vault doors for future heists. The Turtles later use the device to defeat Destructor X.
