Snake Mountain is a location on the planet Eternia and appears in the Turtles of Grayskull (mini-comics) and Turtles of Grayskull (comics). Snake Mountain is the stronghold of the villain Skeletor and his evil warriors.
After Krang and Shredder are accidently transported to Eternia, they solidify the alliance they had begun with Skeletor. To this end, a portal was created inside Snake Mountain that connected Dimension X to Eternia. Through this portal they brought members of the Foot Clan along with mutagen and Mousers.
During Belly of the Beast (Man), Beast Man sneaks into the Palace of Eternos claiming that he feared being subjected to the mutagen. He offers to lead the heroes to Snake Mountain and takes them through a maze of tunnels underneath Eternia to Snake Mountain. However, when the emerge, it is in an arena of ruins and into an ambush.
