Plot[]
April is showing the Turtles the site of the new Channel 6 building. While she's exultantly describing how it will look, they are reminded of April's impending birthday, which they have forgotten about. April then almost falls off the building when she trips into a wheelbarrow.
Down in the Technodrome, Krang and Shredder are berating each other for their idiotic plans when someone starts attacking. Bebop and Rocksteady are sent out to investigate, and are immediately caught up by a whirlpool generated by a spacecraft.
It is owned by a woman named Shreeka, a betrayed former partner of Krang's who now wants revenge on him. She also wants the Power Pack Energy Ring that he stole from her "light-years" ago, but Krang claims he gave it to April, and sends Shredder to bring it to April in hopes of provoking a mutually deadly conflict between Shreeka and the Turtles.
The Turtles are brainstorming over possible presents for April, each suggesting things that align more with his own interests. Meanwhile, a surprise birthday party is being planned at Channel 6, where Vernon is sulking because April's new office will be larger than his.
On her way to find April, Shreeka stumbles across the jewelry store Spiffany's, where the Turtles happen to be window-shopping. Unfortunately, Shreeka is powerful enough to levitate them into a nearby garbage truck without much effort. Once they've cleaned up at home, Donatello is able to identify Shreeka.
April's coworkers throw her a brief birthday party, only marred by Vernon having destroyed her cake with his clumsiness, and receives the ring with a fake note from the Turtles. Leonardo tries to warn her that the ring isn't from them, but is interrupted before he can. Shreeka, Bebop and Rocksteady arrive at Channel 6 just as April leaves in a helicopter to film a tugboat fire, but the mutants repeatedly foul Shreeka's attempts to capture her quarry.
Unfortunately she spots a TV broadcast by April from the new building, while wearing the power ring. Shreeka confronts April and attempts to take the ring by force, only for Shredder to rescue April just long enough to take the ring from her hand. Michelangelo swoops in before Shredder can drop April from the side of the building again, and the Turtles pour wet cement on top of Shredder. Shreeka telekinetically snatches the ring from Shredder who retreats, and begins generating a lightning storm and shooting fireballs at the Turtles. The entire building is on the verge of collapsing.
Leonardo deals with the problem by throwing a heated rivet at her, which she catches in her hand, melting the ring instantly. As the Turtles flee, Shreeka cuts the elevator cables, but the Turtles are able to jump free just in the nick of time. The building collapses.
Shreeka tells Krang that she has a fate worse than death planned for him: the return of Rocksteady and Bebop. Meanwhile, the Turtles throw their own birthday party for April, giving her a massive pizza festooned with candles.

Quotes[]
Krang: How dare that woman accuse me, the mighty Krang, the ruler of Dimension X, of stealing her dopey ring! |
Shreeka: My name is Shreeka, and you're April O'Neil. I thought those tacky jumpsuits went out of style eons ago. |
Shreeka: Oh no! It's melting! My precious power ring, gone forever! AAAAHHHHHHH!!! |
Notes and errors[]
- The Spiffany's jewellery shop is a pun on the real life Tiffany & Co.
- April's back waist is on the right side of her back instead of the left when Shreeka remarks about her jumpsuit.
- When Donatello yells, "Two can play at that game!" he's wielding his Bō staff like a baseball bat... and another Bo is on his back.
