Summary[]

Inside the Tecnodromo, Bebop and Rocksteady are arguing over what they should watch on what they think is a huge television. Shredder informs them that it is a dimensional portal, not a TV. He is scanning alternative dimensions in a search for new anti-Turtle weapons. The two mutants look over their shoulders and then Bebop sees something that he says doesn’t look bad. What he sees startles Shredder and then suddenly all three are swept into the air. Shredder says that it’s an electronic vortex which is sucking them into the other dimension.

A short while later, a slightly dizzy Shredder is greeted over a loudspeaker by someone who welcomes him as an inferior humanoid. Shredder rises to ask where he is and looks up to see his captor. The man introduces himself as Ping the Cruel, emperor of this dimension, and tells Shredder to tremble in his presence. Shredder replies that he would rather know what the man wants. Ping explains that he captured them for a little experiment. They will have to fight Ping’s chosen troops. If the trio prove to be weak, their dimension will be invaded. Shredder laughs and informs Ping that he has picked the wrong guys for his joke.

Both Bebop and Rocksteady are very excited at the idea of the three of them being champions of the world. Shredder tells Ping to forget his invasion plan because he is already at work to conquer Earth. Ping growls and says he was warned that Earthers are rude, but he didn’t think you were so shameless. He orders his warriors to attack them. Rocksteady quickly insults one of the warriors by asking if there is a carnival around these parts and then snatches the man’s weapon from his hands. Bebop follows suit and as Shredder deals with a third warrior, he says the man is deluded if he believes he can compete with a master ninja.

Bebop and Rocksteady swoon over the weapons and Rocksteady wonders how they work. Bebop takes a guess and fires the weapon, almost hitting his own partner, who is impressed. The warriors run screaming for help and Bebop calls the weapon a pocket cannon. Ping can’t believe his warriors were defeated and his personal guard swiftly pulls him from the room to the secure apartment. In the meantime, Shredder is examining one of the weapons and finds it impressive. He wonders what their artillery would be like, because some gadget like this could be very useful to him.

Finding that his two mutants have donned the armor of their adversaries, Shredder calls them valiant and tells them a challenging task awaits them. Bebop says that’s the first time he’s called them brave and then Rocksteady asks if they are looking for a way to return to the Tecnodromo. Shredder says he has a better idea. They are going to conquer this dimension. After that, he will have the Ping army invade Earth. Rocksteady is curious how Krang will stay there. Shredder says they will go and find the emperor because he wants to explain to him that he is now in command now. He does not realize that Ping is spying on him with hidden cameras. Ping can’t believe what he is seeing and tells his general to activate the imperial guard. The general asks if Ping thinks he can stop them. Ping responds maybe not, but it will give him time to set a little trap.

As they walk through a corridor, Shredder wonders if they are going in the right direction. Rocksteady looks behind them and says he believes so given the reception committee. A giant imperial guard robot advances on them and Bebop says it looks like Krang before firing one of the stolen weapons at it. The missile bounces off the robot and Shredder expresses concern that it doesn’t even seem to have been tickled by the weapon. Then he says it doesn’t matter, because they’ll fix it the old-fashioned way. He grabs two of the robot’s tentacles and shortly, the robot is tied up in knots. Ping suddenly arrives and tells Shredder that he has won. He states that he surrenders and offers his crown, telling Shredder to come and get it.

Shredder is pleased to see that he is so reasonable. As the three move forward, clear crystal walls drop around them, and Ping laughs that they fell for his trick. His general announces that the dimensional transducer has been activated. Bebop cheers that they are going home. Ping tells his general to never try to get in touch with a dimension where such people live.

At the Tecnodromo, the three travelers land hard. Krang watches their entrance and says he had hoped they’d decided to get out of the way. He asks where they went and Shredder says give him a chance to catch his breath and he’ll explain. After a short explanation, Krang bursts out laughing and says he had not heard anything so funny. He adds that only Shredder could miss such an opportunity. Shredder says he would have liked to see Krang in his place. However, what happened there is not the thing that bothers him the most. What he can’t stand is that in one way or another, they defended the Earth. Bebop and Rocksteady, on the other hand, liked this story.
