[Opening sequence and theme song.]
[Open on the city skyline and pan down to the Turtle Lair.]
Leonardo "Put on Channel 6, Raphael. I wanna see the opening of the new Asian arts museum."
[The channel shows April doing a live report.]
April O'Neil "I'm here at the gala opening of the Museum of Asian Arts, where—"
[People begin running and shouting in fear as an Amphibious module drives into their midst. Bebop and Rocksteady step out, both armed with laser rifles. Shredder is right behind them.]
Rocksteady "Everybody back off."
Michelangelo "Talk about glory hogs. Robbing a museum on live TV!"
Donatello "Looks like break time's over."
Splinter "My pupils, wait. I have just had a strong psychic impulse that you should not get involved in this."
Donatello "Master Splinter, you can't be serious."
Splinter "I am deadly serious, Donatello. I sense there will be dire consequences if you try to stop Shredder."
Raphael "Uh, forgive me, Sensei, you've got it backward. There will be dire consequences if we don't try to stop him."
Leonardo "Sorry, Master Splinter. We've gotta give those goons a turtle-izing."
Splinter "I cannot stop them if they wish to go. But I fear they will regret this action."
[Meanwhile, at the Museum, Bebop and Rocksteady are loading artifacts into a large bag.]
Bebop "Oh, boy. This is like being a kid in a candy shop. Or maybe a noodle factory."
[Michelangelo swings down from an upper ledge.]
Michelangelo "Cowabunga!"
Bebop "Whoa!"
[Michelangelo throws Bebop into Rocksteady.]
Shredder "Destroy those wretched reptiles."
Leonardo "Gee, Shred-Head. Can't you think of anything new to say?"
[He takes a dagger from the wall and throws it into the end of Shredder’s gun, causing it to explode. Shredder grabs a sword from the wall and Rocksteady takes a spear from a display. Donatello rushes him with his bō and they begin fighting.]
Rocksteady "Ooh, stand still, you little creep. Unh! I'll make turtle kebabs out of you."
[Shredder goes after Leonardo and Raphael with his sword. Then Shredder’s Comlink beeps.]
Krang "Shredder, it's done. Meet me back at the Technodrome."
[Raphael grabs an object from a wall display.]
Raphael "All right, Shredder. Now you've had it.
Oops."
[He discovers it’s a fan.]
Oops."
Shredder "Bebop, Rocksteady, retreat!"
Raphael "Well, what do you know? Ha! It worked!"
[The Turtles run out the back door in time to see the Transport Module drive away.]
Michelangelo "All right! We beat 'em big time!"
Leonardo "I don't know. That was almost too easy."
Raphael "Easy? Come on, they were winning."
[Later, back at the lair…]
Splinter "I fear that by taking on Shredder, you may have started on the path to the greatest danger you have ever faced."
Raphael "But, sensei, we're not in any danger."
Splinter "The danger is not now, Raphael. The danger is yet to come."
[Michelangelo is adjusting the channels on the television.]
Michelangelo "Come on, dudes. Let's see if we made the news."
Reporter "Our top story, a major robbery at the Space Administration Center just outside the city. Stolen, the regenerative power cell, the world's most compact source of energy, invented for a new super space station. The thieves, a strange alien creature, and a group of skilled ninjas dressed in blue."
Leonardo "That sounds like Krang and the Foot Soldiers."
Raphael "You know, I hate to say it, but I think we just fell for the old double jeopardy trick."
Donatello "You're right. Why else would Shredder have pulled that robbery on live TV?"
Michelangelo "To keep us busy while the Krangster was stealing that power thingie."
Raphael "Yeah, but what do they want it for?"
[An alarm starts blaring. The Turtles run to Donatello’s workshop.]
Donatello "It's coming from offshore. Something huge. Almost like a tidal wave."
Leonardo "We've gotta check this out. Come on."
[The Turtles drive onto the beach in their Turtle Van. They see a disturbance in the ocean.]
Michelangelo "Whoa. What's going on?"
Raphael "What is it? A tidal wave?"
Donatello "No, it’s a-- The Technodrome!"
Leonardo "Krang used that power cell to reenergize the entire Technodrome."
[The Technodrome moves towards the beach.]
Beachgoers "What is that? Get out of the way, quick!"
Michelangelo "Man, that thing's gonna roll right over the city if we don't stop it!"
Raphael "Relax, you guys. We all know the drill by now."
All "We break into the Technodrome, fight our way past the Foot Soldiers, disconnect the power device and escape with it."
[As the Technodrome pass their hiding place, Michelangelo tosses a Turtle Line and hooks onto rolling war machine. All the Turtles grab onto the line, climb up and kick open a panel to enter.]
Leonardo "All right, now for the-- Foot Soldiers!"
[The Turtles draw their weapons to meet the oncoming Foot Soldiers. The Technodrome rolls down a highway, plowing right through an overpass.]
Krang "The Turtles are here."
Shredder "Right on schedule."
Krang "And there's City Hall, dead ahead.
General Traag, it is time."
[People flee from the approaching Technodrome. It stops in front of City Hall.]
General Traag, it is time."
[He activates a portal which sends the Rock Soldiers down to the street.]
Traag "We are at your command, Lord Krang."
