Alessio Berzzotani was an Italian oceanographer. He was mutated into a shark-man during an exposition and began using the name Sharkius Branchii.
History
Berzzotani was diving off the coast of New York one day, when he was approached by both a whale and a shark. The whale swung its tail, moving the currents and sending Berzzotani and the shark spiraling together into some mutagen. Since then, he blamed the whale entirely on his misfortune, and began working with human whalers to eradicate them into extinction.
Returning from Magard in Moycat's car, the Tortugas and Moycat spot the whalers going to work, attempting to kill a humpback. The Tortugas and Moycat leap from his car onto the deck, attacking and overcoming the whalers. Moycat demands to know why they were attacking the whale, and the whaler he is interrogating just says it's a secret. Just then, Sharkius Branchii appears. The heroes attack, but Sharkius takes down Leonardo, Rafael, Donatelo, Miguel Ángel, and Moycat in order, each with a single blow. He then retreats back into the ocean.
