"Sewer Crash" is the twenty-fourth episode of the live action Ninja Turtles: The Next Mutation (TV series).

Synopsis[]

As Donatello is scanning the World Wide Web for information, someone breaks into his computer and sends him a coded message - one that reprograms Donny's brain! Now the Turtles' techno-savvy teammate has been turned into a cyberpunk super-thief.

Plot[]

Late at night, while working on the computer, Donatello suddenly receives a video message that hypnotizes him. On the other end of the video is Silver and his goons who plan to brainwash Donnie to become Silver's minion when he hears the trigger phrase "banana".

Eventually, Raphael becomes suspicious of Donnie's odd behavior and one night he tails him to Silver's lair. After Raph discovers the trigger phrase then his fight with Silver and his goons becomes a shouting match with everyone shouting "banana!" to try and get Donnie on their side until he's dizzy. Once the shouting calms down Silver says "banana" one last time, only for Donnie to punch him in the face.

Trivia[]

Splinter doesn't appear in this episode; however, he is mentioned by Raph.
Leo and Venus make brief appearances, with Leo not speaking while Venus has one line of dialogue.
