Synopsis[]

The story begins in New York City in 1984. Cha Ocho, who is 9 nine years old, is been picked up by his mother from the school of self-defense skills. Out of arrogance, Cha decides to show his skills to his mother by going in the dark alley as his mother runs after him, so she could ensure her son's safety. As they enter the dark alley, they were confronted by four members of the local street thugs, armed with knives and threatening to murder them. As they confront mother and son, all of a sudden, someone appeared and is revealed to be Leonardo!!!!

He saves the boy and his mother and single-handedly defeated the thugs. Impressed by his skills, Cha enthusiastically tells Leonardo that he wants to be just like him, but Leonardo refuses and dissuades Cha from doing it as he disappears in the shadows, but Cha made his decision and is determined to do it.

14 years later in 1998, Cha, who is now 23 years old, becomes police officer of New York Police Department and is now married to his new bride, Kate. Husband and wife stand at the platform on the Saint Thomas Church. Two police officers chasing after a man, who goes by the name, Lawrence McKinney. He takes out his pistol and he shots. However, the shot hits Kate, killing her, who topples at the subway station.

Heartbroken by the death of the love of his life, Cha becomes determined to find McKinney and avenge his wife's murder. In 2000, two years of investigations, the trail runs cold as Cha wasn't able to find McKinney. The police decides that this case is closed, but unsolved. Upset by this, Cha quits the police force in anger and sets out to find McKinney all by himself.

In 2001, Cha joins the Foot Clan and became the captain of Foot Ninja. As Cha patrols the city, he finds the files of his wife's murder, he finds Leonardo! Cha becomes shocked by seeing his savior for the first time. Cha reveals to Leonardo that he was once child, who, along with his mother, were threatened by punks, but Leonardo saves them, which Leonardo realizes that Cha was the child, he saved him, along with cub's mother 17 years ago. Leonardo was very displeased with Cha for joining the Foot Clan and asks him to give him the file, until Cha reveals to Leonardo that this file was something to deal with his wife's death at the hands of Lawrence McKinney.

Leonardo agrees to help him so he and Cha go to the lair to investigate the files, with Splinter advising Cha not to go to far with revenge. Raphael tells him that he would have been happy to help but he can't do to his injuries, with Michelangelo reading a book and Donatello is absent, leaving Leo and Cha to investigate alone.

As they patrol the city, they go to bar and asks about Lawrence's whereabouts, to which the man says that he is homeless and is now living in Saint Thomas Church, with Cha deduces that this is the same place where he and his wife got married shortly before her death. Cha goes to find McKinney and murder him out of revenge. Leonardo tells him not to murder the man, but to leave him to the authorities, but Cha goes anyway.

Leonardo and Cha find McKinney and an enraged Cha grabs McKinney and is about to kill him. Lawrence begs for mercy and tells him that this day haunted him for years, but Cha doesn't want to listen and is about to kill him, but Leo stops him, telling him that he can't murder the man, who begs for mercy. Cha tries to make excuse that he killed his wife and is about to murder him, saying that this is an honor, but Leo says it's not an honor as both start to argue, with McKinney trying to escape, but Cha attacked him. Out of grief and revenge-filled rage, Cha cuts Lawrence's head and completely slays McKinney, killing him, thus avenging his wife's death.

Leonardo becomes horrified by Lawrence's death at the hands of Cha, but is very angry with him for doing it. Nonetheless, Leonardo grabs the sword and scars Cha's face, before leaving in anger. Cha then expresses his newfound hatred towards Leonardo.

Few days later, Cha now forgets about what happened his scuffle with Leonardo, but doesn't show any remorse by killing McKinney, and knows he did the right thing. He goes to the cemetery to visit his wife's grave and uses his knife to slice apple and warmly says hello to his wife's grave and tells her the story.
