Sandstorm is a mutant Bactrian camel ally of the Ninja Turtles. Thus far, he has only appeared as an action figure.
Unlike most of the other toy-only characters, Sandstorm isn't given a backstory. Although his clothes and accessories are given a vague Middle Eastern theme, his location of origin is unconfirmed. His "titles" as "sewer sultan" and "cool camel captain" don't seem to be grounded in legitimacy and are likely just alliterative fluff for his biography. It's also not revealed whether he was a human or camel before being mutated.
Sandstorm enjoys fighting and partying, and is very sensitive about the fat deposit humps on his back.

- In 1991, Ryan Brown designed a mutant camel with an Egyptian/pharaoh theme, which was the direct predecessor to Sandstorm's design.
