Salamandrians are an amphibious alien race native to the planet Salamandria. They resemble humanoid versions of the newts and salamanders of Earth.
History[]
They have been at war with the Triceratons for quite some time before the events of "The Moons of Thalos 3". But one of the member of their race, Newtralizer is an enemy towards The Kraang.
The Salamandarians had a hostile contact with the Triceratons and the Kraangs for unknown reasons. Newtralizer was imprisoned by the Kraang and later freed and came in contact with the Turtles.
In "The Evil of Dregg", Salamandria is threatened by Lord Dregg's army.

- "Rokka Rokka" is a phrase frequently heard from Salamandrians. Since it is left untranslated by their technology, it may be a verbal tic or qualifier to express intense or aggressive feelings.
- It is revealed in "The Moons of Thalos 3" that in Salamandrian culture, extending one's hand (such as for a handshake) towards someone is a declaration of battle. Strangely, the Newtralizer casually accepts a handshake without issue in the much earlier episode Newtralized!; perhaps his longer time on Earth has granted him familiarity with human customs.
- Some Salamandrians can grow up to 10 feet, which is the average height for their archenemies, the Triceratons.
- According to the Newtralizer, Salamandrian technology is the deadliest in the 10 dimensions.
