Salamandrians are an amphibious alien race native to the planet Salamandria. They resemble humanoid versions of the newts and salamanders of Earth.
History
They have been at war with the Triceratons for quite some time before the events of "The Moons of Thalos 3".
In "The Evil of Dregg," Salamandria is threatened by Lord Dregg's army.

Trivia
- The phrase "Rokka Rokka" is frequently used in Salamandrian dialect. While it seems to be untranslatable, it is usually used when expressing intense or aggressive feelings.
- It is revealed in "The Moons of Thalos 3" that in Salamandrian culture, extending one's hand (such as for a handshake) towards someone is a declaration of battle.
- However, in the much earlier episode Newtralized!, the Newtralizer contradicted that thought process when Slash extended his hand to Newtralizer for a handshake, Newtralizer apparently took no offense and even shook his hand as a gesture of their new partnership and comradery, which is the general human response. This different reaction may be due to the fact that Newtralizer has been on earth much longer than most other Salamandrians and better understands earth's culture and customs.
- Some Salamandrians can grow up to 10 feet, which is the average height for their archenemies, the Triceratons.
- According to the Newtralizer, Salamandrian technology is the deadliest in the 10 dimensions.
