[Opening sequence and theme song.]
[Pan over the city of Paris at night. The Turtles and Splinter are standing on an outer ledge of the Louvre looking in through a window.]
Splinter "Students, here we are at the Louvre in Paris. A museum that houses perhaps the world's greatest artistic achievement; the Mona Lisa. Created by Leonardo's namesake, Leonardo da Vinci."
Leonardo "I don't know much about art, but I like it."
[A man carrying a paint can suddenly bounces into the room.]
Louvre vandal "I hate all masterpieces, especially this one. I will destroy it for all time."
Leonardo "He's gonna deface the Mona Lisa."
Raphael "That's what he thinks."
[The Turtles leap into the room.]
Louvre vandal "Wha--? Where did you come from?"
Raphael "That's not the point. This is the point."
[He throws a sai, which hits the paint can the man is holding overhead. Paint drips out onto the man. He drops the can, which bounces off his own head, making a bigger mess.]
Michelangelo "Hey, dude, latch on to this."
[Michelangelo throws his Turtle Line, which wraps around the man and the post behind him, trapping the vandal.]
Splinter "You will leave him to the gendarmes. They are on their way."
[As the Turtles slide down from the building, police sirens can be heard. Splinter is already waiting for them on the street.]
Splinter "We cannot relax our vigilance, even on foreign soil. There is evil everywhere."
[Cut to the Technodrome in Dimension X.]
Shredder "Krang, when will that Hyper Combustion Oxidizer Rocket be ready?"
Krang "Just a few more adjustments, Shredder. Have patience."
Shredder "Patience is for wimps. I can't wait to blast this Technodrome to Paris, the city of lights."
Krang "There's also this extra added incentive."
[He turns on the viewing screen, which displays the image of the back of a postcard. Shredder reads.]
Shredder ""Hi, April. Paris is great, and the French pizza isn't half bad either. Au reservoir, the Turtles." The Turtles, in Paris?"
Krang "Très bon. Those miserable shellbacks might not be so formidable out of their element."
Shredder "You're right, Krang. What better place to enjoy turtle soup than in Paris."
[In Paris, Splinter leads the way through the sewer system.]
Splinter "Follow me, my students."
Leonardo "Are you sure this is the right way, Master Splinter?"
Splinter "Here it is. We are directly beneath the gardens of Versailles.
Do they not smell beautiful?"
[He sniffs the air.]
Do they not smell beautiful?"
Michelangelo "No sweat, amigos.
My guide book has the complete skinny on Paris. Here it is, dudes, the garden of Versailles."
[He takes out a Paris guide book.]
My guide book has the complete skinny on Paris. Here it is, dudes, the garden of Versailles."
[He holds up the picture from the book.]
Raphael "Hm, too bad it isn't scratch-and-sniff."
[Back in the Technodrome…]
Shredder "Well, what's the delay this time?"
Krang "I told you before, Shredder. A hyper combustion rocket is a delicate instrument."
Shredder "Delicate shmelicate. I'm programming for maximum thrust."
[He types an entry into the computer, but the screen reads “Maximim Rust.” Shredder presses the activation button.]
Krang "Shredder, you idiot. That's not "thrust," it's "rust."
Now look what you've done, you walking sardine can. Thanks to your impatience, we'll never get this scrapheap to Earth."
[The machine fires, hitting the control device.]
Now look what you've done, you walking sardine can. Thanks to your impatience, we'll never get this scrapheap to Earth."
Shredder "Not necessarily, Krang.
With this new Rust Encruster, we'll be able to bring all of Paris to a grinding halt."
[He feels around the point of destruction.]
With this new Rust Encruster, we'll be able to bring all of Paris to a grinding halt."
Krang "Hm, you're right. And in the confusion, we'll tap into enough energy to draw the Technodrome down to Earth."
Shredder "Then the other world leaders will be putty in our hands."
[A door slides open and the two mutant henchmen enter.]
Bebop "Rang, Krang? I always wanted to say that."
Krang "You two will accompany Shredder to Paris, and you'll take the rust encruster with you."
Rocksteady "Oh, boy. Paris. Isn't that where all that plaster comes from?"
Krang "No, you fool. It's where French fries come from. Now, get in that portal."
[Shredder, Bebop, and Rocksteady enter the Trans-Dimensional Portal, taking the rust encruster with them. In Paris, a flower seller peddles his wares.]
Paris Flower Seller "Flowers. Who will buy my pretty flowers?"
[A light flashes overhead. Shredder and the two mutants fall on the flower cart.]
Rocksteady "Hey, what's with all the flowers?"
Bebop "Oh, we must've died and went to heaven."
Flower Seller "Sacré blue! My flower cart, she is ruined. I call the gendarmes."
[Shredder lifts him up by his coat collar and throws him into the water.]
Shredder "You can call the French foreign legion for all I care.
Krang, you brainiac. You portaled us down here with the rust encruster on empty."
[His uses his Comlink.]
Krang, you brainiac. You portaled us down here with the rust encruster on empty."
Krang "Well, I can't do everything. You'll just have to find your own new power source. I bid you adieu."
[The trio are soon in the rooms of an artist.]
Shredder "You heard me. We're taking over your garret."
French Artist "Please, monsieur, I am a poor artist."
Bebop "You can say that again."
[Rocksteady holds up a painting.]
French Artist "I did those in my cubist period."
Rocksteady "Oh, I say we cube this square."
[He breaks the painting over the artist’s head. Then Bebop grabs the man.]
French Artist "What are you doing?"
Bebop "We're helping you take this show on the road."
[He tosses the artist down the stairs.]
French Artist "Everyone is an art critic."
