Plot[]
Owner of New York pet store Rare Pets & Supplies, Harvey Hokum, fails to make a sale after falsely advertising a jackalope which is in actuality a rabbit with faux antlers and a horn taped to its head. He hears rummaging in the alley next to his store and investigates, finding Huginn and Muninn. Harvey tries to capture them in hopes of selling them as exotic pets, but they use a mystic device to create a portal to the Hidden City which he follows them into.
April O'Neil and the Turtles try to save Donatello from his malfunctioning Tech-Bō as it flies wildly around the lair in its engine-propelled mallet form. Raphael orders the group to execute "Chaos-Jitsu" and try to help Donnie in an uncoordinated manner. April strikes the mallet's head with a baseball bat, causing Donnie to fall into Leonardo's mystic portal.
Back at Baron Draxum's laboratory, Draxum schemes to have the Turtles combat another mutant to test their skills. He is initially displeased to see Harvey in his laboratory who Huginn and Muninn had unknowingly been followed by, but after learning of Harvey's search to find exotic pets to sell, Draxum assigns him as the opponent the Turtles will face, ensuring his cooperation by claiming the Turtles are exotic pets of greater value than the gargoyles. He then uses an Oozesquito to mutate Harvey, transforming him into a rabbit.
With Donnie now safe, Michelangelo draws the others' attention to the surface, upset that a street once known for its quality pizzerias has been turned into a hipster hotspot. Mikey notices the newly mutated Harvey, who he nicknames Man-Bun, as he deliberately damages property to agitate the Turtles. Raph, Mikey, Leo, Donnie, and April leave the sewers to follow Man-Bun into an empty Albearto's construction lot as Draxum spectates secretly. Man-Bun is able to land strikes on the Turtles by traveling below ground and surfacing repeatedly. Raph eventually calls for an adjustment in approach, employing "Chaos-Jitsu". April and the Turtles then randomly attack everything on the lot, making it difficult for Man-Bun to avoid their blows. After injuring Man-Bun, Donnie's Tech-Bō accidentally discharges a laser that strikes Huginn, drawing the group's attention to Draxum and his henchmen. With Man-Bun defeated, Draxum teleports back to the Hidden City. April and the Turtles decide to take Man-Bun with them back to the lair, but find he has dug a hole in the ground.
During Man-Bun's escape he encounters a shrouded figure, assuming him to be Draxum. Donnie then hears the sound of a cage door being closed, but after none of the others share his observation, he dismisses it and continues to explore New York City alongside his family.
