Ring Master is a master of ceremonies and thief from the year 2105. He is the head of the Martian State Circus, which travels the galaxy to entertain audiences.
The Turtles arrive for a day at the circus but soon find themselves pursuing a purse thief. By use of their ninjutsu, Raphael and Michelangelo subdue the thief and return the purse to its owner. The Ring Master has watched the entire thing and invites the Turtles to replace a performer who dropped out. He tells them that he needs acrobats to help with a magic trick. According to him, he has a "volunteer" planted in one of the seats and the Turtles are to perform some acrobatics around him, then steal his wallet, which will be returned later.
Leonardo agrees to help, much to Mikey's delight. Raphael is less than thrilled, especially after seeing some of the other performers who appear very unhappy.
The first act that the Ring Master introduces is the magician Zorak the Great, whose trick involves making a wealthy woman's jewelry vanish. After Zorak's show, the Turtles enter the ring to perform ninjutsu for the audience, and to steal the wallet. When they take the wallet to the Ring Master's tent later so that he can return it to the man, the Ring Master tells them they are gullible. He also tells them that they are now part of the circus and knocks them out with a noxious gas.
The Turtles manage to escape from the train car they are trapped in and enter the front car to reach the conductor. Zorak along with other performers attack the Turtles, and when the Ring Master enters the fray, Zorak uses his magic to enhance the man's fighting skills. Raphael manages to land a solid punch which renders the Ring Master unconscious and Zorak is defeated as well.
John Bishop arrives with the Peacekeepers to take the Ring Master, Zorak, and the other circus performers into custody. He informs the Turtles that the Ring Master has been on a galaxy-wide crime spree.
