Plot[]
The Turtles watch April's news broadcast about the invention of a Sonic Disintegrator, which can turn solid metal into powder. Leonardo is convinced that Oroku Saki will steal the disintegrator and use it for some evil purpose, so the Turtles head to the lab to guard it. Much to their surprise, the one who shows up to steal it is mob boss Big Louie, who escapes after a fight between his goons and the Turtles.
A metallic capsule from space lands on the street, and releases a robot, Destructor X, that immediately starts destroying the doors of office buildings.
This news interrupts the Turtles' attempts to relax after their exciting evening, and Leonardo remains convinced that it's the doing of Krang and Shredder. As they investigate, the Turtleoid Kerma appears behind them and reveals that he needs their help once again. His newest problem turns out to be Destructor X, which breaks its way into Kerma's ship and attempts to kill him, despite the intervention of the Turtles. Michelangelo discovers that bright lights overload its sensors, so the Turtles decide to head to Channel 6 to use their lights.
Meanwhile, Big Louie rages about his latest loss to the Turtles, and gets Vernon Fenwick to blab about where they are.
Kerma reveals that Destructor X is actually a law enforcement robot meant to take down the most vicious of criminals. But due to an electronic glitch, it has mixed up Kerma with a villain named "Nerma." Just then, both Big Louie and Destructor X break into the news room, and the Turtles manage to blind the robot with the bright TV lights, but Destructor X soon drives them into retreat. At the same time, Big Louie steals Kerma's portable gold machine.
The loss of his gold weakens Kerma, and Splinter is left to guard the Turtleoid in April's apartment. Unfortunately, Destructor X breaks its way into April's apartment, forcing Splinter and April to place Kerma on the roof and defend themselves against it.
Raphael and Leonardo go deal with Big Louie in an old marble factory, snatching back the gold machine, while Donatello and Michelangelo go to get the Sonic Disintegrator to use against Destructor X. They arrive just in time to save Kerma from Destructor X, and Donatello shoves the disintegrator into Destructor X's body, reducing it to powder.
The Turtles bid farewell to Kerma, and he blasts off to Shell-Ri-La. As the Turtles reflect on all the trouble their alien friend gets into, they spot some thieves breaking into a store and chase them down the street.

Notes and errors[]
- Final appearance of Big Louie as well as the only episode he appears in without Shredder.
- Leonardo suspects Shredder and Krang will steal the Sonic Disintergrator and later cause the damages Destructor X did, but they’re not in this episode as Donatello confirmed him.
- When Big Louie's two thugs slip on the marbles that Raphael lays, the bald thug is seen wearing his hat, but the hat is missing after Leonardo cuts the barrels off their blasters.
