[Opening sequence and theme song.]

[Episode opens inside the turtle lair. The turtles are practicing under their Sensei’s guidance. Raphael and Michelangelo face off.]

Splinter "Attack"

Michelangelo "Whoa!"

Raphael "Cool move, huh? I learned it from watching you toss pizzas."

Splinter "Are you all right, Michelangelo?"

Michelangelo "Just sprinkle some chopped olives on me, and I'll be fine."

Splinter "Very good, Raphael. Leonardo, Donatello, your turn. Wait!"

Leonardo "What is it, Sensei?"

Splinter "I feel as though we are being watched, somehow."

Donatello "The Rat King?"

Splinter "No. By something or someone more alien. No matter. Continue with your practice, my students."

[Unbeknownst to them, Stockman in his fly form hovers over them. His form is not solid; he is out of sync with the world and able to move through objects.]

Baxter Stockman "At last! After months of searching the sewers, I've found the turtles. Finally, I'll have my revenge on them for them leaving me in this horrible state. And not only on the turtles, but on Krang and Shredder, as well."

Shredder "Ohh~~"

Krang "What is it, Shredder?"

Shredder "I suddenly felt the presence of someone in the room. But let us continue."

Krang "Our ballast tanks are nearly empty. And there's not a lot of water at the Earth's core."

Stockman "Nyah nyah nyah nyah!"

[They can’t see him.]

Krang "Did you say something?"

Shredder "No, Krang. You did."

Krang "Oh, of course. I was merely testing you. This is the plan. I will raise the Technodrome near this underground reservoir in the city's sewer system. Then, we'll tap it and fill the tanks."

Shredder "In the sewers? That means you'll have to deal with the turtles."

Krang "Correction. That means you'll have to deal with the turtles."

Shredder "I'll consider it a pleasure."

Stockman "Excellent. All my enemies will be in one place. The perfect opportunity for revenge. But first, I need to completely re-enter this dimension. And to do it, I'll need a few gigavolts of electricity."

[He flies up to the surface and to the top of a high rise.]

Stockman "This spire gets struck by lightning in every electrical storm. I simply must be patient."

[Lightning strikes the lightning bolt he is touching and shocks him into solidity. He falls and hits the ground.]

Stockman "Phew. I needed that. Ha ha ha! It worked. I'm back in this dimension again."

[Shift to the lair. The turtles stand around a worktable covered in tools and parts.]

Leonardo "What did you want to show us, Donatello?"

Donatello "I just built a gamma ray sonar tracker. It'll help us keep tabs on the Technodrome's movements."

Raphael "Terrific, Donatello. You're a total techno-turtle!"

Michelangelo "So, like, what's this gizmo?"

Donatello "No, Michelangelo, don't touch that—"

[He’s too late with his warning. Michelangelo is catapulted across the room.]

Michelangelo "Whoa!"

Donatello "--switch."

Michelangelo "Oh, man! How did I get from there to here?"

Donatello "Courtesy of my latest invention-- the retrocatapult."

[The new tracker begins to beep.]

Leonardo "What's going on?"

Donatello "The Technodrome is moving. It's headed for the surface. Looks like it's headed for the 9th Street reservoir."

April O'Neil "Hi, guys. Am I interrupting anything?"

Raphael "No, only the end of civilization as we know it."

April "Oh, let me guess-- Shredder and Krang are up to something?"

Donatello "You got that right. And what they're up to is the alluvial layer of subsoil."

April "English translation?"

Michelangelo "Yeah, the Technodrome's about to bust through the Earth's crust."

Leonardo "Come on, turtles. The fate of the world depends on us!"

Raphael "Don't you wish you could deliver lines like that with a straight face?"

[Underground, the Technodrome stops moving.]

Shredder "What's wrong? Why are we stopping?"

Krang "That's as close as we can get to the surface with the power we have. You'll have to use the transport modules to bore holes into the water storage tanks."

Shredder "I'll get Rocksteady and Bebop, and we'll leave right away."

Krang "Not those two buffoons! They always manage to foul things up."

Shredder "Not this time. They're taking one of those self-improvement courses on videotape."

Krang "What's it on, low-impact stupidity?"

Videotape "Remember, anger is counter-productive, don't get mad. Just get the job done. Turn your enemy into your friend-- your pal."

Rocksteady "Ah, gee, I feel mellower already just listening to this.
[Bebop knocks over his drink.]

Hey, dummy, watch what you're doing!
"

Bebop "Oh, zip it, wimp!"

Rocksteady "Wimp? I ought to make pork chops out of you!"

Videotape "Just repeat to yourself, "I am in control. I am in control.” And you will be."

Both "I am in control. I am in control."

Shredder "Rocksteady. Bebop. Get your freeze rays and come here. Now!"

Bebop "I guess Shredder's in control."

Rocksteady "So, what else is new?"

[The turtles and April arrive at the reservoir on their cheapskates.]

Donatello "This is the underground reservoir that the Technodrome seems to be headed for."

Michelangelo "Well, what do you suppose Krang and Shredder want with all that water?"

Raphael "Maybe they're planning on giving Rocksteady and Bebop a bath. Nah."

April "This reporter's going to look around."

Leonardo "Don't wander too far."

April "Don't worry. What could happen down here?"

Stockman "April O'Neil! What better way to launch my revenge against the turtles than kidnapping their closest friend?"

April "Gee guys, this is really boring. I wish something would happ—"

[Stockman grabs her from behind and whisks her away.]

Michelangelo "You wish something would what, April?"

Raphael "Yeah, you really oughta learn to finish your sentences."

Donatello "She's gone!"

Leonardo "April! Where are you?"

Michelangelo "Yo, April! Where'd you split to?"

April "Help! Mmm! Help!"

Stockman "You might as well cooperate. It's useless to struggle.
[April takes out her turtlecom, but Stockman knocks it out of her hand.]

Oh, no, you don't. I want the turtles to find us-- but not just yet.
"

[The open turtlecom begins to beep.]

Leonardo "Whatever it is, it's got April. Come on, turtles!"

Michelangelo "Yeah. It's the green good guys to the rescue."

[The ground starts shaking.]

Leonardo "Oh, now what? An earthquake?"

Michelangelo "No, wrong, dude. It's a Shredder-quake."

Leonardo "Quick! Take cover!"

Shredder "Well, Rocksteady. For once you've brought the module up in the right place."

Rocksteady "Gee, thanks, boss. It must've been them self-improvement tapes I've been listening to."

Leonardo "Okay, Shredder. What have you done with April?"

Bebop "The turtles! Where'd they come from?"

Shredder "I take it back. Coming up in this spot was a stupid idea. Freeze them!"

Michelangelo "So, like, next time, how about we clobber them first, and then ask questions."

[While the turtles dodge freeze ray blasts, farther in the tunnels Stockman has tied April to a bench.]

April "Just who are you, and what do you want from me?"

Stockman "From you? Nothing. You are merely the honey to lure the turtles into my flytrap."

April "Well, it isn't going to work."

Stockman "That's precisely what Shredder used to tell me. But this time, I will be revenged! Ha ha ha!"

April "I should have known he'd be a friend of Shredder's."

Stockman "When those turtles breathe this gas, it'll be all over for them. Ha ha!"

[At the top of the tunnel, Stockman opens a valve on a large pipe. Shift back to the fight.]

Rocksteady "Come on out, shellbacks, and get fitted for ice overcoats."

Raphael "Man, those guys really frost me."

Leonardo "Me, too. I think it's time we heated things up a little."

[Leonardo throws a katana overhead and it pierces a pipe. Gas flows through the puncture and surrounds Shredder and his mutants.]

Shredder "What?"

All "Oh! Aah!"

Rocksteady "Hey!"

Leonardo "Okay, let's get 'em."

Turtles "Turtle power!"

[They start forward but the ground is covered in ice, so they all slip and fall down.]

Turtles "Whoa! Ow!"

Shredder "I can't see a blasted thing. Retreat!"

Raphael "Pretty slick getaway."

Michelangelo "One thing's for sure-- turtle tootsies weren't made for ice."

Leonardo "We've got to find April before Shredder returns."

Donatello "Maybe I can pick up her turtlecom signal.
[He opens his turtlecom and it beeps.]

There! It's coming from that passageway.
"

Stockman "Everything is going perfectly. Soon, the turtles will be my prisoners, and then I'll-- I'll-- I don't know what I'll do. But I know they'll hate it."

[The turtles discover April’s turtlecom lying on the ground.]

Michelangelo "Found it, dudes."

Leonardo "That's April's turtlecom, all right."

Donatello "Oh, she must have dropped it."

Raphael "Or someone made her drop it."

Leonardo "We've got to keep searching."

[On the walls and pipes dozens of rats start running around, squeaking loudly.]

Donatello "There sure are a lot of rats around all of a sudden."

Michelangelo "No duh. And where there's rats, there's—"

All "The Rat King!"

[The Rat King pops up out of the water.]

Rat King "You may address me as your royal highness."

Raphael "Will you settle for your royal pain?"

Rat King "And why are you turtles intruding in my kingdom? Do you wish to battle my army of loyal rats?"

Leonardo "We're looking for April O'Neil. She's been kidnapped."

Rat King "Ah, April O'Neil. Ha ha ha. I remember her. She had very pretty fur, I mean, hair. I suppose you want my help."

Raphael "Right now, we'd take about anything."

Rat King "All right. Follow me."

Raphael "Hey, do you really trust his royal wackiness?"

Donatello "Do we have a choice?"

[As they follow the Rat King, Shredder continues his mission.]

Shredder "Hurry with that equipment. We must drain the water before the turtles return."

Bebop "Right, boss."

[He drops a piece of equipment on Rocksteady’s toe.]

Rocksteady "Yeowch! Why, you clumsy creep! Why, I oughta—"

Bebop "Now, now. Remember what the tape said. You gotta control your temper, pal."

Rocksteady "Ooh, I am in control. I am in control, buddy."

Shredder "Hurry and attach that equipment! You're wasting valuable time! Carefully! One slip, and we'll be washed away by ten million gallons of water."

Bebop "Don't turn on the water till I tell you, old pal."

Rocksteady "Right, old buddy."

[He turns it on anyway. The pressure causes the hose to jump and it takes Bebop on a ride.]

Bebop "Wha--! Stop! Get me down! Turn off the water!"

Shredder "Get down from there, you pinhead!"

[He turns the water off and Bebop falls, landing directly on Shredder.]

Bebop "Whoa! Oof!"

Shredder "Ow!"

[A buzzing sound draws their attention.]

Shredder "What? I recognize that sound. Quickly! Take cover! Just as I thought-- Baxter Stockman. Hmm. He might come in handy."

Stockman "My fly sense tells me that Shredder and his mutants are here somewhere. What?"

[Shredder tosses his cape over Stockman and pins him to the ground.]

Shredder "You two hold him."

Stockman "So, we meet again, Shredder. Prepare to taste my revenge."

Bebop "Pretty corny dialogue, ain't it?"

Rocksteady "Hey, what do you expect from somebody who washes his face with his elbows?"

Shredder "Release him at once. Baxter, I'm terribly hurt. Why would you want revenge on me? I'm your friend."

Stockman "Oh, no, you don't. That's how you fooled me the last time."

Shredder "Baxter, you wound me deeply. Why, I look upon you as a son. An extremely weird-looking son."

Stockman "That's right, I'm a freak. And it's all your fault. You and those blasted turtles."

Shredder "I can help you, Baxter. I'll take you back to the Technodrome where you can be made normal again."

Stockman "You'd do that for me?"

Shredder "Of course. In return, all I ask is that you help me trap the turtles."

Stockman "I've a fly feeling I'll regret this, but I'll do it."

Shredder "You've made a wise choice, Baxter. Now, let's talk turtles, shall we?"

[Return to the turtles, who are still searching the tunnels.]

Leonardo "Ugh. This is the third tunnel we've checked, and still no sign of April."

Donatello "Even the Rat King seems to have given up."

Rat King "Wrong. Don't despair, turtles. My royal rats and I are on the job."

Raphael "I can't tell you how reassuring that is."

Michelangelo "Yeah. It, like, gives me turtle bumps all over."

[A rat crawls onto the Rat King’s shoulder and squeaks in his ear.]

Rat King "Excellent work, Mickey."

Turtles "Mickey?"

Rat King "We all have our role models. Our search is ended. Your friend April O'Neil is being held captive in the old 7th Street subway station. Ha ha. Follow me."

Donatello "I can't believe we're trusting a guy who talks to rats."

Raphael "Oh, you mean like we do with Master Splinter?"

Rat King "And there is your Miss O'Neil, just as promised."

April "Oh, wow! Am I glad to see you."

Leonardo "April, are you okay?"

[Leonardo cuts her loose.]

April "I'll be fine now that you fellas are here. How'd you find me?"

Leonardo "The Rat King helped us."

Donatello "Your highness, I guess we owe you-- he's gone!"

Michelangelo "Split city!"

Leonardo "I wonder where he could have gone."

Shredder "Alas, turtles, I fear you will never learn that."

April "Shredder!"

Raphael "Oh, swell. We've traded one rat for another."

April "But you're not the one who grabbed me."

Stockman "No, my dear. It was I, Baxter the fly."

Leonardo "Baxter!"

Donatello "The fly!"

Raphael "These old subway stations always have such a great echo."

Stockman "Yes, and now that I have you turtles in my sticky grasp, revenge is mine!"

Shredder "Blast them with the freeze guns!"

Rocksteady "Right, boss."

Stockman "No, no! They're mine!"

[He turns a valve on a pipe and gas floods the tunnel. Everyone starts coughing.]

Leonardo "Aah! It's gas!"

Shredder "Oh, what noxious vapor is that, Baxter?"

Stockman "A deadly concoction I injected into the gas line. We'd better get away before it affects us, too! In a few minutes, the turtles will be no more! There, Shredder. I've kept my end of the bargain. Now, it's your turn."

Shredder "I promise I'll have you human again in no time, Baxter. Or as close to it as you were before."

Michelangelo "Got to stop that gas."

[He throws a rope connected to a grappling hook at the valve. It catches and he pulls until the valve is closed.]

Leonardo "April, are you all right?"

April "I'm okay. But that fly character doesn't like you boys very much, does he?"

Raphael "Trust me, the feeling is mutual."

Donatello "Let's go get him."

Leonardo "April, you'd better stay here. It could be dangerous."

Raphael "I knew he'd say that."

April "Stay here, and miss the story of the century? No way! I'm coming with you."

Raphael "I knew she'd say that!"

[Back at the reservoir, Shredder continues his mission.]

Stockman "What's taking so long?"

Shredder "Nothing. We're ready to return to the Technodrome."

Stockman "And then, I'll be turned back into a human, right?"

Shredder "Of course, Baxter. Have I ever broken my word before?"

Bebop "Sure, boss. Remember the time you—"

Shredder "Shut up. I didn't ask you."

Rocksteady "Ooh, hurry up, will you? I can't hold this much longer, pal."

Bebop "All right, good buddy."

[He lets the device fall on Rocksteady.]

Rocksteady "Yow! You'll pay for that, hog breath!"

Bebop "Remember to control yourself."

Rocksteady "Right now, I'm controlling this two-by-four, and I'm going to wrap it around your ugly pal head!"

[He swings the board at Bebop but misses him and hits the transport module.]

Shredder "Stop it, you fools! You'll damage the module."

Rocksteady "He started it."

Bebop "I did not, he did."

Shredder "Never mind. Just fix that valve rig. I'll deal with you two when we get back to the Technodrome."

Leonardo "Hold it right there, Shredder! Your flight has been canceled."

Shredder "The turtles! What does it take to stop you?"

Raphael "Whatever it is, you ain't got it."

Shredder "We'll discuss it some other time."

[He and the mutants jump into the transport module and drill into the ground.]

Donatello "They're getting away!"

Bebop "Gee, what a smooth getaway."

[There’s a sudden warning siren and the transport module begins to swerve.]

Rocksteady "Something's gone haywire."

Shredder "I knew it! You damaged the guiding sensors when you were fighting."

Donatello "Well, at least we can shut down this water drain."

[The ground shakes and the module pops up from the ground.  Everyone starts shouting as he drills right back down again.]

April "Look out!"

Raphael "Now, there's something you don't see every day-- a runaway module."

[The module comes back up and goes down again.]

All "Ahh! Yow!"

Inside the module "Whoa!"

Raphael "It's turning the place into Swiss cheese!"

Michelangelo "Bummer. Why couldn't it be mozzarella?"

Donatello "The whole thing is going to collapse!"

Leonardo "I'll stop it!"

[He pulls a sword and jumps on the module as it passes by.]

Michelangelo "Whoa, way to go, dude! Ride 'em, turtle boy!"

Leonardo "If I can just get to a fuel line—
[he pries open a control panel and slashes the fuel line.]

Got it!
"

[He hops off as the module slides to a stop. The hatch opens and everyone inside falls out.]

Rocksteady "This is all your fault, pork nose!"

Bebop "Oh, yeah? You was the one who clobbered that sensor."

[They shoot at each other, each hitting the other’s freeze blaster. They drop them as one of the blasters gets stuck and starts freezing things at random.]

Donatello "We can't shut off the valve!"

Stockman "Do something, Shredder!"

Shredder "Baxter, will you buzz off?
[A freeze ray hits Stockman, encasing him in ice.]

Better yet, you'll make a wonderful specimen for a high school science project.
"

Donatello "Look! The freeze ray! It's turning all the water into ice."

[The ceiling starts to cave in.]

Raphael "Ha ha. I got a crazy idea. Let's get out of here!"

Leonardo "The reservoir's going to blow!"

April "Oh, no!"

Donatello "Au revoir, reservoir."

Bebop "What's happening?"

Shredder "The entire place is coming down! Run, you mutant morons!"

[An explosion causes a chunk of rock to hit Stockman’s frozen form, and he falls into the tunnel that Shredder, Bebop and Rocksteady have just jumped into.]

All "Ow! Oof!"

Bebop "Hey, who invited him?"

Rocksteady "Ain't you heard? There's flies at every picnic!"

Krang "What's that? It sounds like a transport module."

[A module chute opens and everyone pops out, along with a lot of ice.]

Rocksteady "Gee, I always wanted one of them automatic ice makers."

Bebop "Personally, I like the kind you can shut off."

Krang "Well, Shredder, there's another scheme of yours down the tubes."

Shredder "It's not a total loss, Krang. Look who I brought to work for us-- the most brilliant scientific mind since Einstein. With him on our side, the world is our oyster."

Krang "Hmm. I prefer my seafood without flies."

[Stockman bursts out of the ice.]

Stockman "Okay, that's the final insult! You'll two will be sorry you ever started up with Baxter Stockman!"

[He flies into the transport chute.]

Krang "My, my. Quite an exit."

Shredder "I've a feeling we haven't seen the last of that brilliant but bothersome half-man, half-insect."

[Back at the lair, the turtles sit at the kitchen table eating pizza and telling their story to Splinter.]

Splinter "And so, the reservoir was saved?"

Leonardo "That's right, Sensei. It didn't lose more than a few thousand gallons."

Donatello "And, as good citizens, we've even fixed a few drips while we were there."

Michelangelo "Whoa, ohh!"

Leonardo "What's wrong, Michelangelo?"

Michelangelo "Oh, my tender bod is severely bruised from that battle."

Splinter "Applying cold to an injury is a centuries-old cure."

Michelangelo "Hey, fantabuloso idea, Master. I'll just slap a cold slice of pizza on my boo-boos. Oh, no, not more ice!
[He drops the ice tray he’s just gotten from Splinter on his toes.]

Ouch! Oh! Oh!
"

Raphael "That ice really works."

Donatello "Yeah. A minute ago, he could barely move, and now he's dancing."

[They all start laughing.]
