Renet is a Mistress of Time and Space. She is a character appearing in the Saturday Morning Adventures comic series. Renet is not an accomplished Time Lord, as she often gets confused as to what time period she is popping into.

History[]

In the lair, Splinter is teaching Leonardo a new sword technique while the other Turtles look on. Suddenly, a glow appears overhead, which quickly solidifies into a young woman. She greets the Turtles as though she's an old friend and says she hopes she's not late. The Turtles do not know who she is and she reacts in surprise, saying they just talked five minutes ago. She introduces herself as Renet, the Mistress of Time and Space, and is bringing a warning regarding a dire threat to the nature of their universe. Renet stops herself mid-sentence as she realizes that she's gone the wrong direction in time. Though Splinter invites her to take a seat, Renet says she can't, because if she warns them too early, it would muddy up the works. She then says she'll see them in the future and vanishes as quickly as she arrived. Cutting Through the Universe

As three of the Turtles are back in the lair trying to figure out where in time Leonardo and Shredder went, Renet abruptly appears. She begins to introduce herself, but Raphael interrupts to let her know they've already met. When she sees that there are only three Turtles, she realizes that she'll have to slide later in the timeline. Michelangelo stops her before she can leave and tells her they need her help. Renet says she's not supposed to interfere, but the Turtles use logic to win her over. All they want to know is what happened to Leonardo because he was zapped through time and they don't know where. Renet uses her Time Scepter to pull up an image and asks the Turtles to tell her what's happening. Soon she is displaying a scan that tells them that Leonardo is in Feudal Japan. When Raphael asks if she could just zap Leo back to the lair, she says no, that she can bend a rule or two but that would get her into trouble. Donatello asks how they get him back because they don't have a time machine just sitting around. With a wink, Renet says that they actually do. After Shredder uses the Forever Sword to take him back to his own time and leaves Leo stranded, a time window opens in front of him. Don has managed to open a Transtemporal Dimensional Portal and tells Leo to hurry. Back in the lair, Leo asks how they saved him. Raph explains that Renet told them time was just another dimension and helped Don adjust his Trans-Dimensional Portal. Leo asks if Renet came back to warn them about the other Forever Sword, but she's answers no. Explaining that she's interfered enough, she leaves. This Circle Isn't Really That Flat

After Leonardo defeats Shredder and sends the Technodrome back through the time rift, the Turtles realize that they have two Forever Swords. Michelangelo starts daydreaming of the things they could do with the swords, but Donatello reminds him that they are not toys. Renet then appears and agrees the swords are not toys and that they are dangerous. To keep them out of the wrong hands, she takes them with her in order to stash them in a safehouse at the end of time. There, she says, no one will ever find them. Renet also explains that the swords were only part of the problem she had come to warn them about. She couldn't be specific because they needed to do what they did, even though it broke space-time a little. Space-time, she says, needs to be broken every so often to reset itself and get stronger. As she prepares to leave, she warns them that there will be hiccups while time resets. One of those hiccups involve a group of robotic dinosaurs who appear just then. Renet tells them weirdness like this will occur for the next three or four days. Just distract them for a while and they'll return to their own time and space. With that, she says she'll see them soon and vanishes. The Two Swords Meet
