In Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Red Fox is an actress.
Physical appearance[]
Red fox is a red panda Yōkai with black whiskers on her muzzle, a black nose, yellow sclerae and teeth, long red, dark red, and white fur, and a short figure. She wears a red space suit with yellow accents on the cuffs and shoulders and grey accents on her torso and collar. Over her heart is a graphic of Jupiter. She also wears black boots, black gloves, and a grey side cap.
History[]
Red Fox served as Jupiter Jim's sidekick in the latter's eponymous franchise. She left the series when she was tired of not being respected or thanked by Jupiter Jim's actor Marcus Moncrief.
Red Fox debuted in "Sidekick Ahoy!" When an "alien" scorpion called Scor-Pion was seen at the New York Zoo and a bomb factory, Marcus, still under the delusion that he is Jupiter Jim, decided to take him down. However, he not wanting to fight him alone, he lit up the Jupiter Jim signal in the sky to flag down the Mad Dogs. When they arrived, he shared his need of a new sidekick. Despite not participating in the contest to win the spot, Raphael was ultimately chosen due to Marcus being "used to red sidekicks", and was dubbed Red Fox II by Marcus. While Raph and Marcus searched for Scor-Pion, the other Turtles located Red Fox, who was starring in Jupiter Jim: The Musical, and tried to convince her to come back to Marcus. She told them her reason for leaving, and prepared to take her place on stage. The other Turtles met up with Raph and Marcus, who were suspended above acid with bombs by Scor-Pion, after realizing that it wasn't all a delusional ploy on Marcus' part and the threat was real, the Turtles snatched the bombs away, and Scor-Pion, in anger, severed the rope holding Raph and Marcus. Just as they were about to drop into the acid, Red Fox arrived and caught them with her tail. Scor-Pion then retreated and Red Fox rejoined Marcus with their friendship repaired due to Marcus being grateful to her.
Abilities[]
- Tail expansion: Red Fox's tail can dramatically increase in width as shown when she expanded it to catch the bodies of Raph and Marcus when they fell.
- Tail extension: Red Fox can make her tail grow longer to reach faraway objects
- Prehensile tail: Red Fox's tail can grasp and hold objects.
- Flight: By spinning her tail, Red Fox can fly.
- Strength: Not only was Red Fox able to grab Raph and Marcus out of the air with her tail with no extraneous effort, she is also able to fly while holding Marcus.
- Acting: Red Fox is a professional actress.
Relationships[]
Friends and allies[]
- Marcus Moncrief: Red Fox has been Marcus' sidekick in Jupiter Jim media for a considerable amount of time, and although she enjoyed his friendship, his lack of appreciation for her presence and assistance aggravated her over time until she decided to give up her role as Jupiter Jim's sidekick. Even so, her affection for Marcus outweighed her frustration with him and she rescued Marcus when he was captured by Scor-Pion. With Marcus learning to express gratitude for Red Fox, she decided to return as his sidekick.
- The Mad Dogs: Red Fox was surprised to learn that the Turtles weren't turtle alien cosplayers, but mutants. She heeded their plea for her return and was she honest about her disputes with Marcus.
- Raphael: Red Fox prevented Raph from being harmed by Scor-Pion when he was trapped by him.
Enemies[]
- Scor-Pion: Red Fox stopped Scor-Pion from burning Marcus and Raph in acid.
