Rec Room

Rec Room is a virtual reality massively multiplayer online game with an integrated game creation system. The game centers around users voluntarily accessing various in-game experiences, which are referred to as "rooms" created by Rec Room Inc., as well as custom rooms created by players. These rooms can be accessed using in-game menus, teleports referred to as "room doors", as well as through invitations sent by other users. The development studio Rec Room Inc. was founded in April, 2016.

In 2023, Rec Room partnered up with Paramount to bring the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles to the platform. Through the Trials of TMNT, players can prove themselves to be honorary Turtles by fighting Foot Clan bad guys in an adventure through the city. Players maximize the fun by joining up with three friends in order to prepare for the ultimate battle against one of the Turtles' ultimate foes - Shredder! In order to look lean, green, and mean, gear up with brand new TMNT items including Turtle shells, gloves, and headbands! All of this under the guidance of the Turtles themselves. The Trials of TMNT and the new set of avatar costumes were available across all platforms beginning November 15, 2023.
