Synopsis[]
With their brothers Leonardo and Donatello looking on, Raphael dares Michelangelo to a time-limited scavenger hunt whose destination is at 14 North Moone Street. The time is originally set at ten minutes, but Raphael ups the stakes by offering double or nothing if Michelangelo can do it in nine and a half minutes. Michelangelo takes the bet.
Running as fast as he can, Michelangelo makes split decisions on his route, knowing he can't waste time. When he starts to get a little winded, he tells himself it's time to cut back on the cookies.
When he's close to his target, Michelangelo starts thinking he should have kept the bet at ten minutes because he isn't sure how long it will take him to find the coin that Raphael hid as proof. Fortunately, it is hidden in plain sight and Michelangelo scoops it up and starts running again.
Michelangelo is racing against time and panting hard. Raphael has been watching the clock and states that there are only seconds left and his brother is nowhere in sight. He starts chortling about how Michelangelo is going to be doing dishes for two weeks. Suddenly Michelangelo arrives and tosses the coin so it hits Raphael in the forehead.
Having lost the bet, Raphael turns to the other two turtles and makes the same bet, asking "who's next?".

Trivia[]
- As is often the case in early Mirage stories, the identities of each of the four turtles can only be inferred by dialogue and personalities, as the story is in black and white and, in this case, none of the turtles are wearing their weapons to help tell them apart. While Michelangelo is the one taking up the challenge by an irrepressibly competitive brother who is generally assumed to be Raphael, Donatello and Leonardo are present but with interchangeable bystander roles, such that it is impossible to tell them apart.
- As an easter egg, the scavenger hunt's destination address, 14 North Moon Street, is the address of the Ghostbusters' Firehouse, though neither the Ghostbusters nor the Firehouse themselves are specifically referenced in the story.
