At some point, Raphael and his brothers came into contact with a mutagenic substance and became a humanoid, then was trained by the rat master Splinter.
Mad Cow Denise[]
Shredder and Krang send a robot cow called Denise and pig named Pete to get the Turtles out of their way. Pete hypnotizes Leonardo into obeying Denise, and despite his brothers' hesitance, they all go with Denise to the Land of Stone, and she abandons them there. They are soon attacked by Stone Warriors, but Raphael has the idea to bowl them over with stone pillars, which crushes them. Raphael ends up restoring Leonardo's senses to him during a fight, and the Turtles return to Denise's ship by swiping Bebop and Rocksteady's microplane.
Leo beats Pete and Denise gets angry and attacks the Turtles with lasers from her hands. An enraged Michaelangelo yanks Donatello's bō out of his hand and beats Denise until she is destroyed.
