  Raphael is the most short-tempered among the Turtles and loves to fight. He is liked by Casey for these reasons. Using his pair of sais, his aggressiveness is an asset during tough battles. In games based on the 2003 animated series, Raphael is the strongest Turtle as opposed to the fastest.

In Raphael's chapter in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (Game Boy Advance), he faces the vigilante Casey Jones and beats him in a motorcycle race with the Shell Cycle, then they fight together against the Purple Dragons.

He also appears in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (2003 video game), Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2: Battle Nexus, TMNT: Mutant Melee, and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 3: Mutant Nightmare.

He appears in TMNT: Smash Up as a playable character, with Frank Frankson reprising his role. The Nightwatcher also makes an appearance as a separate playable character.
