Rahzar was a mutant Gray Wolf minion of the Shredder and cohort to Tokka.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Secret of the Ooze
Rahzar and Tokka were created by Shredder as a way to defeat the Turtles. The Shredder kidnapped and forced Dr. Jordon Perry to use the same ooze that mutated the Turtles. The ooze was used on a gray wolf, which transformed into Rahzar. While dim, he made up for it with his brute strength and intimidating demeanor. Eventually, with Dr. Perry's help, and a hardy dose of carbon dioxide, he was demutated. (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Secret of the Ooze)
1987 TV series
Rahzar and Tokka were two of the mutants created after Shredder unleashed mutagen at a zoo. They were first seen terrorizing a mall when the Turtles showed up. Rahzar destroyed Leonardo's katana and threw him across the mall. When the Turtles almost captured Tokka, he destroyed a pillar and the pair managed to escape. Later that night, they found some food and began to eat. Unfortunantely, it was a trap set up by Dirk Savage to capture the duo and Tokka was captured. Rahzar managed to avoid capture and escape from Savage, vowing to make the human pay. Later on, he attacked Savage, but was stopped by Raphael and Donatello. Dirk Savage: Mutant Hunter
Video games
Rahzar and Tokka were bosses in the video games Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles III: The Manhattan Project and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Turtles in Time. Rahzar returns to the role in the 2009 -Turtles in Time remake for Xbox LIVE Arcade and PlayStation Network. In The Manhattan Project Rahzar has ice breath, and curiously has fire breath in Turtles in Time.
TMNT 25 Movie
- Tokka and Rahzar appear in 4Kids' 25th anniversary direct-to-DVD special, Turtles Forever. A unique twist on the infamous pairing as they are depicted as Cyber Foot Ninja, underlings under Ch'rell the Utrom Shredder. Having overtaken then the Technodrome from the 1987 TMNT cartoon dimension he has also taken control over the utilization of the Mutagen in Krang's reserves. A vast amount of Ch'rell's army are turned into mutants for his disposal against the Turtles. Rahzar himself is among the first of the loyal Foot transformed onscreen. Tokka and Rahzar attack the TMNT teams in the Party Wagon but get pummeled and knocked out by the vehicles fire power.
