A Proton Pack is a device used by the Ghostbusters, which allows them to ensnare, direct and sometimes blow up ghosts and other supernatural entities. It can inflict massive property damage if used incorrectly or carelessly.
In Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles/Ghostbusters, the Ghostbusters attempted to ensnare the Turtles from the IDW continuity with their proton packs, but were outmaneuvered by the Turtles' superior agility. Later on, Ray Stantz lent his spare proton pack to Donatello, who discovered that using it was more difficult than he had anticipated. Donatello then assisted the Ghostbusters in attempting to herd Chi-You towards the ghost trap.
In Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles/Ghostbusters 2, Winston Zeddemore demonstrated to Leonardo that he could temporarily blow up ghosts with it, and allowed the Turtle to use the pack along with him. When Michelangelo and Peter Venkman briefly encountered the Ghostbusturtles in the dimension of Zoo Amsterdam, the Turtle Ghostbusters used their own advanced form of proton pack to physically restrain the human. Later, Michelangelo used Venkman's own proton pack as proof that he was not a demon as the Turtle Ghostbusters had suspected.
