The Prison Dimension is a location in Rise of the Teenage Mutant Turtles: The Movie.
Description[]
The Prison Dimension is primarily dark grey with pale streaks of purple and green. It holds various Krang technologies, such as Titans and the Technodrome as well as Krang One. Only half of the Technodrome currently remains inside due to Casey Jones II. The Prison Dimension is opened with the Mystic Key or using Michelangelo's gateway-opening mystic power.
History[]
The Prison Dimension kept the Krang from Earth's dimension for a millennium after they violently invaded Japan from outer space, the Krang being forced there by four unnamed mystic warriors who constructed the Mystic Key. Their time inside the Prison Dimension caused the deaths of all of the captive Krang, sans Krang One, Krang Two, and Krang Three.
The Prison Dimension debuted in Rise of the Teenage Mutant Turtles: The Movie. It was reopened by the Foot Clan in 2020 when the Foot collaborated with Hypno-Potamus and Warren Stone to steal the Mystic Key from a New York museum exhibit. Krang One ordered Krang Three to widen the portal to allow the Technodrome into Earth's dimension, however, the process was disrupted by Leonardo once he stole the Mystic Key. After Raphael gave Krang One the Mystic Key in his Krang zombie state, Krang One and Krang Three traveled to the top of Metro Tower where Krang Three accessed the Prison Dimension once again and successfully retrieved the Technodrome. Donatello took control of the Technodrome and tried to move it back into the Prison Dimension, but was stopped by Krang One. While Krang One and Leo skirmished on top of the Technodrome and later within the Prison Dimension, Casey went to the top of Metro Tower and removed the Mystic Key, closing the Prison Dimension doorway and Krang One and Leo inside it. With the Technodrome being half inside the Prison Dimension, the shutting of the doorway resulted in the Technodrome being halved. Being trapped in the Prison Dimension enraged Krang One and he attacked Leo in his fury. Mikey used a newfound mystic power with Donnie and Raph's support to create a doorway to the Prison Dimension and caught Leo. Krang One attempted to drag Leo further into the Prison Dimension and Donnie sent a mystic drill head into Krang One to prevent him from doing so. Mikey then closed his doorway and Krang One and his Titan remained inside.
