Platinum Dunes is a production company created in 2001 by filmmakers Michael Bay, Brad Fuller and Andrew Form. Their website is part of Bloody Disgusting's site. The company was only known for making Horror films like The Unborn, Horsemen, the reboots of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre and it's prequel, Friday the 13th, Nightmare on Elm Street, The Hitcher and The Amityville Horror. On October 7, 2009 Paramount Pictures announced a first-look deal with Platinum Dunes. They plan to branch out of the horror genre into action and thrillers with this new deal. Their first project together will be The Butcherhouse Chronicles. The studio has produced the 2014 reboot Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows.
