Plasma storm in Dimension X space.
A plasma storm is a space weather phenomena occurring in Dimension X in the 1987 TV series. In the episode "The Foot Soldiers are Revolting", when Alpha-1 has sent Krang and Shredder adrift from the Volcanic Asteroid in one of the Technodrome escape pods, the spacecraft enters the space cloud from where the plasma storm originated. Though there was only a small chance of survival, the storm repowered the escape pod and allowed Shredder and Krang to return to the Technodrome.[1]
