In Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (Rizzoli), Oroku Saki, also known as Shredder, is the comic series' primary antagonist. This version of Saki is closely based on Oroku Saki from the 1987 TV series.
History[]
After reporter April O'Neil broadcasts a story about thefts of scientific materials and the possibility that a mysterious group of ninja may be responsible, she is chased into the sewers by a gang of thugs whose boss doesn't want her to continue her reports. After she knocks herself silly by running into a wall, they catch up to her. Before they can attack, the Ninja Turtles arrive and knock-out the thugs. Upon seeing that her rescuers are not human, but in fact giant turtles, she faints. She wakes inside the lair and finds herself surrounded by Splinter and the Turtles. April asks who they are and Splinter explains that their story began years earlier in Japan. There lived a man called Hamato Yoshi who was a martial arts master in a ninja clan, "Clan del Piede". Yoshi was a quiet man who loved art and his work. However, one of his students, Oroku Saki, caused Yoshi to be chased out of the clan in disgrace. La Nascita di un' amicizia
Leonardo reads in the newspaper about an art exhibit of Renaissance art. Splinter urges his sons to attend, stating that those who are wise learn from beauty. April arrives and offers them press passes to attend the preview so that they don't have to encounter a crowd. After they enter the museum, Shredder makes his presence known and they learn that the entire thing was an elaborate trap to defeat the Turtles. Tartarughe in bella mostra
A fan of Japanese "monster" cartoons, Shredder has spent days watching television. Concerned, Krang sends Bebop and Rocksteady to wrangle Shredder so that he can be injected with something to cure him of his obsession. Instead, Shredder trounces the two mutants and tells Krang that the movies have given him an idea. Soon, Shredder is terrorizing the city from inside a gigantic robot filled with weapons. Unfortunately for him, Donatello has created an Inverter Liquid which reverses chemical properties of objects. Leonardo uses spray paint filled with the liquid and quickly reduces the robot to a pile of rust. Troppa tv per Shredder
