[Opening sequence and theme song.]
[Pan across a city street and then down to the Turtle Lair. Hokum Hare carries a pizza pan into the living room where the Turtles are waiting.]
Hokum Hare "Lunch is ready, fellas."
Donatello "Boy, that pizza smells great, Hokum."
Michelangelo "Totally. I’ve got a mondo case of the munchies."
Hokum "And it’s my own special recipe."
[He sets down the pan which is covered in vegetables.]
Raphael "Oh, tell me this isn’t broccoli."
Hokum "Why, it sure is. I call it “pizza bunny style.”"
[Donatello points at the television.]
Donatello "Hey, guys. It’s April."
Michelangelo "Turn up the sound, dude."
[April O’Neil is standing next to a man in a bunny suit as she does her news report.]
April O'Neil "April O’Neil here, speaking with the Easter Bunny, who’s just been mugged. Exactly what happened?"
Costumed man "Gee, uh, I don’t know. Suddenly, this guy jumps me and steals my wallet."
Michelangelo "Man, how low can you go?"
Hokum "A fellow rabbit needs my help. Keep the pizza warm. I’ll be back in two shakes of a hare’s tail."
[He races from the lair.]
Leonardo "Hokum, wait! That’s not a real rabbit!"
Raphael "He’s a grown-up bunny. He can take care of himself."
[Cut to the Technodrome in Dimension X.]
Krang "Aha! I have found it!"
[Krang, Shredder, Bebop, and Rocksteady are looking at the large monitor. It shows a grid pattern on which there is a red blinking light.]
Rocksteady "Ooh! Found what, Krang? A tweeny, weeny blinking light?"
Krang "For your information, this is a once-in-a-lifetime occurrence. A temporal wave distortion."
Shredder "I can’t tell you how excited that makes me."
Krang "Oh, you will get excited, Shredder, when I tell you it could mean a world where the Turtles do not exist."
Shredder "A world without those wretched reptiles? Tell me more."
Krang "Time is like this ribbon."
[He points at a straight, red line on a small monitor.]
Bebop "All right. Visual aids."
Krang "The past is back here. The present here. And here is the future. Due to certain phenomena, occasionally, time bunches up like this."
[He presses a button which causes the red line to have peaks and valleys.]
Shredder "Then one could travel ahead in time to the future."
Krang "And today is one of those occasions. You can now travel to the year 3000, where the Turtles will be long vanished."
Shredder "But what about weapons? They might be very powerful by then."
Krang "That’s why you will take along this matter transformer. With it, a weapon could become a candy bar."
Rocksteady "Oh, just my luck. I’m on a diet."
