Summary[]

As Shredder puts the finishing touches on his latest invention, Krang tells him that he did better when he was in kindergarten. Shredder replies that he doesn’t even know what the invention is, so Krang rolls closer to learn more. Shredder quickly stops him, saying not to walk under the machine’s arch. He explains that if Krang passes through the portal, his structure will be analyzed by the scanning introspector. The data will be transmitted to the replicator unit, which will produce a synthetic double that is visually identical, but with an exactly opposite character. Krang glances back at where Bebop is moving boxes and says that Shredder could make some intelligent mutants with the device, since the current ones didn’t work out so well. Shredder asks if Krang really couldn’t imagine how he intends to use the device. Krang responds that he could possibly intuit his intent.

The next day, in the lair, Raffaello holds up some cards and announces that he’s got a winner. Michelangelo says that he didn’t know Raffaello played cards. His brother tells him that he’s holding four free entrance passes to a fabulous pizza party in Central Park. A skeptical Michelangelo guesses that the entry is free but the food will cost. Raffaello says that the invitation clearly states “all the pizzas you manage to eat are free”. Leonardo asks what they’re still doing at home and for them all to go to the party.

At the seemingly deserted park, Leonardo wonders where the party will be. Michelangelo sniffs at a breeze and tells his brother to just follow the trail of perfume. He leads the way to where a sign indicates where to find the pizza party. A disguised Rocksteady stands near the portal and indicates a path through the arch. The device lets out a whirring sound as each Turtle passes beneath it. Leonardo comments on the strange tickle he felt as he passed through the arch. Then Shredder tells him this was his last chance to laugh. Leonardo calls out to his brothers to look who their host is and Shredder welcomes them. Raffaello says he thinks they’re the only ones invited. Michelangelo grabs a pizza from a stack, while Leonardo pulls a sword. Shredder tells him to calm down because he wants to show him something. He orders Bebop to open the replicator door. Bebop does so and Shredder tells the Turtles to tremble because they are about to meet…

Leonardo and Michelangelo react with surprise. Shredder finishes the sentence by telling them to meet themselves. He calls for the Tartareplicanti to come forward. Four Turtles, all wearing dark colored masks with hints of the color of their original’s masks, arrive with weapons in hand. Shredder tells them to clean the worms out of the park. The two Leonardo’s exchange sword blows and the pair of Donatello’s start to battle as well. Donatello says that the photocopy brothers seem as smart as them. As the eight Turtles fight, Shredder gloats that the replicants are better and more ruthless. Bebop adds that they won’t be able to get rid of them easily. He says that the only way to stop the replicants is to deatomize them with the tele-annullatore.

Shredder baps Bebop on the head, tells him to shut up, and asks why he told them that. Bebop complains that he didn’t think the information would hurt because the four Turtles are too busy to try to steal the gadget. Shredder glances over to the Michelangelo replicant, who is forcing the original to back up. Michelangelo calls out that his twin is really wild. Raffaello tells his brother to hold on, because he’s coming. As Raffaello stabs a pizza with his sai, Leonardo asks if this feels like it’s time to eat. Raffaello says it’s not for him and offers the pizza to the Leonardo replicant. Tartareplicanti-Leonardo exclaims that pizza is horrible.

Raffaello tells his brothers that it’s just as he imagined; they are crazy for pizza so their negative imitations hate it. Leonardo promptly spears a pizza and holds it in front of his replicant’s face. As the replicants shy away from the pizza, Shredder states that he didn’t expect this weak point. He holds up the tele-annullatore, but Michelangelo snatches it out of his hand. Rafffaello then takes the tele-annullatore and uses it to depolarize the replicants, wiping them out of existence. Leonardo tells his brothers to depart the scene before Shredder decides to try again. Donatello warns them to be careful not to go through the arch when the power is on.

Shredder chases them, calling for them to give him back the tele-annullatore so he can synthesize an army of replicants. It’s only when he runs through the arch that he realizes he’s under the analyzer portal. Later, in the Tecnodromo, Shredder stresses as he tries to make another tele-annullatore. He is surrounded by Shredder replicants and wishes for nothing more than to get rid of them. Meanwhile, the replicants are telling him to repent, to be kind and he will be happy, and commenting on how cute the Turtles are.
