Octavius Ogilvy is the corporate president of Octopus Inc., who appears in the episode Corporate Raiders from Dimension X of the 1987–1996 animated series. He took on Shredder as a silent partner in his business dealings, unaware that Shredder planned to brainwash corporate businessmen.
Due to being hearing-impaired, Ogilvy was immune to the effects of the brainwashing. As a result, Shredder apprehended him and locked him in a small storage room.[1] When the Turtles were thrown in as well, they freed Ogilvy and Donatello repaired his hearing aid, allowing him to communicate freely with them. Ogilvy helped his new allies figure out what Shredder's ultimate plan was, and openly expressed his regrets over striking a deal with him.
