[Opening sequence and theme song.]

[Open on a scenic view of a city and the fjord beyond. People enjoy picnic lunches on a grass covered hill and children are at play.]

April O'Neil "Oh, Oslo, Norway. Isn't it beautiful?"

[She is sitting under a tree with Raphael. Next to them is a picnic basket.]

Raphael "It's okay if you like friendly people, clean air, beautiful scenery, and trash-free streets. Now, what's for lunch?"

April "I don't know. Let's see what the hotel packed. I told them to surprise me with something from the local cuisine. Pizza?"

[Michelangelo hangs upside down from the tree.]

Michelangelo "Surprise, surprise."

[He hops down. Donatello and Leonardo peek around the tree trunk.]

Leonardo "We heard you were having lunch here in the park."

Michelangelo "Do you like what I picked for lunch?"

April "Well, pizza's fine, Michelangelo, but I wanted something Scandinavian to eat."

Michelangelo "It's a Scandinavian pizza, dudette, with sardine and lutefisk topping."

Donatello "Sardine and lutefisk pizza? Oh, I'm not a big fish fan."

Leonardo "Better get used to it. There's a lot of fish in Norway."

[The Turtles all chow down.]

Michelangelo "Mm."

April "It's, uh, interesting, but listen, guys, I've gotta go. The Alternative Energy Conference opens today, and I'm covering it."

Donatello "Alternative energy? Oh, I'd like to see that."

[Soon, April is in a large conference room in the Alternative Energy Conference Center, standing up front with her mini-camera. Donatello is in attendance as well, seated on the steps.]

Man "And please welcome Professor Svenson, who has an important discovery to announce."

Professor Sven Svenson "Ah, sure, you betcha. Thank you very much, my fellow scientists."

Donatello "Wow. Professor Sven Svenson is a geological giant."

Svenson "Norway is seated on many volcanic pools. Most of them dormant. But this geothermal power produces more energy than half of Europe's existing power plants. If we can only tap this power, the energy would light up Oslo for a thousand years. I am meeting with representatives of the government this afternoon to give them the location of these volcanic pools and my plans for tapping this energy."

[The attendees all applaud. Suddenly, an overhead skylight is broken and a man in Viking garb slides down a rope.]

Eric the Red-Eye "Wrong, professor. I have other plans for your plans."

Svenson "What?
[The crowd begins murmuring.]

Who--? Who are you?
"

Eric "I am Eric the Red-Eye, son of Thor."

Svenson "[gasps] Impossible. Thor and the gods are just ancient legends. On the other hand, that armor looks authentic. Fascinating. Do you mind--?"

Eric "Get away from me!"

[He leaps over Svenson’s head and onto the desk.]

Svenson "My notes!"

Eric "What I came for."

[April films the Viking as he runs off the stage.]

April "Wow, what a story."

Svenson "Stop him! He has my notes."

[Security guards enter the room and run to block Eric’s exit.]

Eric "Fools. You dare to challenge Thor's hammer?
[He displays a huge double-edged axe and throws it at the wall. The axe punches a huge hole in the wall and then flies back into Eric’s hand.]

Now you have tasted the power of Eric the Red-Eye, son of Thor. Soon you will taste more.
"

[April runs over to him with her microphone.]

April "Any words for the press, Mr. Red-Eye?"

Eric "Yes. Come with me."

[He picks her up and carries her out of the building.]

April "Hey! Put me down!"

Donatello "That guy's got April.
[He runs through the bleachers.]

That Eric has got a head start, so I'll take a shortcut.
[He pole vaults through a window and then starts falling.]

Whoops. I forgot I was on the second floor! Aah!
[He lands in a cart filled with fish.]

Oh, fish. Why did it have to be fish?
[Eric runs around the corner with April slung over his shoulder.]

Stop. Let go of April.
"

Eric "Talking fish?"

Donatello "No, Ninja Turtle."

[Eric drops April and walks forward to confront Donatello. He lifts his axe overhead.]

Eric "So, you dare to challenge Eric? P-yew. A turtle that smells like a fish?"

Donatello "Ha-ha, very funny.
[Donatello strikes the fish cart, causing the fish to spill out onto Eric.]

Ha! Now you smell like fish.
"

Eric "You will pay for that."

Donatello "Yeah, sure, send me the cleaning bill."

[Hiding behind some garbage cans, April takes out her Turtlecom.]

April "April to Turtles. Donatello's in trouble. Conference Center, hurry!"

Leonardo "We hear you, April. Come on, Turtles. Let's go."

Donatello "Take your best shot, you phony Viking.
[Eric spins his axe and then swings, but Donatello leaps aside.]

Nyah-nyah-nyah-nyah. Missed me.
[There is a crashing sound overhead and bricks begin raining down from the hole in the wall.]

Whoops.
"

April "Donatello!"

[Bricks land in a pile on the sidewalk. More Vikings arrive on Eric’s motorcycle. He jumps on with them.]

Eric "Vikings, ride!"

[The motorcycle speeds away. The other Turtles arrive on the scene.]

April "Donatello's under there."

Leonardo "Come on, fellas, dig."

Michelangelo "Hang on, Donatello. We'll get you out of there."

Donatello "Hey, guys, need some help? Of course we need some help."

Leonardo "Of course we need some help. Donatello's trapped under… Donatello!"

Michelangelo "You're supposed to be buried under there, dude."

Donatello "Oh, I ducked into a sewer opening just as the wall came down. But boy, it was sweet of you guys to care.
[He begins backing up when they glare at him.]

Guys, uh, you--? You do care, right? Guys?
"

[Cut to the Turtle Van. The Turtles are in the back watching on the computer monitor.]

Donatello "April's satellite feed is just about due to come on. I think I've got the antenna linked up. Here she is. She's interviewing Professor Svenson."

April "Professor, you've said that the energy locked in the volcanic pools could power the industry of all Europe."

Svenson "Yeah, sure, you betcha."

April "But such power could also be used for evil purposes, if it fell into the wrong hands."

Svenson "Yeah, sure, you betcha."

April "But yet, you're not worried that this Eric Red-Eye will use your notes to find the pools himself?"

Svenson "Yeah, sure, you betcha."

April "Then your notes do not reveal the location of those volcanic pools?"

Svenson "Yeah, sure, you bet—"

April "We get it, professor."

Donatello "Whoa. That professor gives a great interview."

Raphael "Yeah, sure, you betcha."

Svenson "This Eric Red-Eye just has my notes. But I keep the location of those volcanic pools safe here, in my head. You betcha."

April "This is April O'Neil, via satellite from the Oslo Energy Conference."

Raphael "Oh, great. Now this Eric knows what he needs and who to get it from."

Leonardo "We'd better get back there in case he shows up."

[Back at the conference center...]

April "Thank you, Professor Svenson."

Svenson "I hope I was all right."

April "Yeah, sure, you betcha. I mean, heh, you were fine, Professor. I just hope Eric doesn't come looking for you."

Eric "But here I am, Miss O'Neil. Seize them!"

[His men grab April and Svenson. The Turtle Van arrives as Eric’s motorcycle is speeding away.]

Leonardo "We're too late. There they go."

Michelangelo "Put that green foot to the floor, dude."

[They drive onto a dock.]

Raphael "Oops, we're fresh out of highway."

[The van stops and the Turtles get out. A Viking longship passes them in the fjord.]

Donatello "There they go. Look at that sail. It's solar-powered."

[Michelangelo jumps into a motorboat tied to the dock.]

Michelangelo "Come on, dudes."

[They follow the longship.]

Donatello "They went into that channel."

Eric "Fools! You cannot stop the son of Thor."

[He presses a button on a control panel and the cliffs on either side of the channel move inwards.]

Leonardo "The rocks are moving toward us."

Donatello "I can't go any faster."

Raphael "I knew it! An act ending!"
