"Rumors rise like stink from a dead pig."
"You certainly can turn a phrase, my Lord."
— Norinaga and Walker

Lord Norinaga was a Japanese daimyō in the early fifteenth century and is one of the primary antagonists along with Walker in the third film of the live-action film series. He is at war with the peasant rebellion led by Mitsu. He established a trade partnership with the English gun merchant Walker. He is also the father of Kenshin, which he is disappointed with his disloyalty towards him. Despite this, he really does care for his son, as shown when he believed April is a witch and "spirited away" Kenshin.

Norinaga was eventually defeated in battle after a sword fight with Leonardo, ending with Norinaga's defeat with the ceremonial bell falling, trapping him inside. One of Dirk Walker's cannon was shot making the bell to shatter and causing Norinaga humiliation amongst his own people.

At the end, Norinaga is glad to have Kenshin back, and accepted his son's relationship with Mitsu.

Action Figures
