The Ninja Turtles of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles & Other Strangeness and its supplements are the first off-shoot of the originals. Thus, they are most like the Mirage Turtles in their earliest incarnations. Indeed, the content of the books were considered canon to the comics at the time they were published.
