In the Archie Comics issue The Black Stone, the Ninja Turtles, Splinter and Ninjara are seen riding motorcycles across the southern parts of Iran, moving in an east–west direction, towards Jask. In the background, the Moon is seen in the sky.
All of them also wear helmets. Michelangelo says he prefers travelling by motorcycle over travelling by yak. Splinter replies with telling that yaks at least are more silent.
After reaching their destination, they sneak onboard an Oman-registered oil tanker ship.
