The Niagara Falls are a group of waterfalls at the border between Canada and the USA. The episode Return of the Technodrome of the 1987 animated series is set at the Niagara Falls, when Shredder, Krang, Bebop and Rocksteady take over the hydroelectric power station, and use it to repower the Technodrome, allowing it to return to Earth from Dimension X.
