The New York City Subway is an underground railway beneath New York City, opened in 1904. Its subway lines service every borough of the city except Staten Island. The subway appears in many Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles stories.
In The Secret of the Ooze, the turtles live in an abandoned subway station.
In the 2012 TV series, the turtles live in a different abandoned subway station.
