The Needle Beast (Hari Beast in Japan) is an enemy creature debuting in Konami's 1989 home game. It is a bipedal creature adorned with spikes on its back, similar to a porcupine. It is said that the poison on one of these needles is powerful enough to instantly kill an adult elephant; however fortunately, they do not seem to be that potent against mutant turtles.
