Myzoko was a Foot Mystic who had appeared in the Tales of the TMNT issue, Seeds of Destruction. He performs an astral projection ritual to attack Splinter, who responds in kind by meeting Myzoko on the astral plane. The two battle for some time, with Myzoko mocking Splinter's ninjutsu as being essentially an off-brand version of the Foot Clan's teachings, and Splinter denouncing the Foot's evil.
Upon losing to Splinter, Myzoko is approached in the real world by three other Foot Mystics, who had thrown him off the rooftop he was waging his battle from, commenting that they will one day challenge "the rat" themselves. As Myzoko fades on the astral plane, he commends Splinter's worthiness, and Splinter bids him to go in peace.
