The Mystic Fire Ninja appears in the 2003 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles video game, the DS version of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 3: Mutant Nightmare, and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Shredder Reborn. Two Fire Mystics also serve as the third boss in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Battle for the City; though they wear gear similar to the Metal Mystic, they shoot fire from their weapons.

Description[]

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles[]

In the console version of the game, he appears as a boss enemy working alongside the Foot Clan. During his first appearance, the Fire Mystic serves as part of Hun's invasion squad when he and a small army of Foot Ninja break into the museum to locate the Goblin Blade. The Fire Mystic later returns to guard Oroku Saki within his tower.

The Fire Mystic appears as a boss within the third area of Stage 4: Tengu, appearing right next to the exit. He is the last of the five Foot Mystics to be fought within the stage. The Fire Mystic will rise up from a self-created flame, forming himself into battle. He constantly sidesteps and rolls around the area while occasionally staying idle to launch a fireball from his staff. At times or when he is knockbacked, he will twirl his staff to unleash a wall of large flames where the heroes are at, before stepping back to either continue its pattern or to launch another fire pillar barrage. If a Turtle is hit with a fire attack, their rears will be set on fire, which causes the Turtle to continuously receive minor health loss for a limited time. The Fire Mystic can only receive up to a three-hit combo before being knockbacked from any fourth hit. He is immune to stuns and knockdowns, but many Electrical Shuriken can possibly stunlock him from attacking. When defeated, he slightly rises into the air rotating horizontally while being covered in a large flame until he fully vanishes.

During Stage 6: Justice, the Fire Mystic is fought once again, this time as a middle stage boss within the second area after enough enemies have been defeated. Despite the presence of water, this element does not hinder the Fire Mystic's attacks at all, meaning he can still launch fire attacks while he is in water. The room is far larger than the museum battle, allowing for more maneuverability this time around.

The Fire Mystic is one of the bosses to reappear during Challenge Mode, being the fifth and final mystic fought.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 3: Mutant Nightmare[]

Multiple Fire Mystics can be fought as regular opponents in Episode 3 of the DS version of the game.
