The mutant magpie is a mutant bird that appears in the Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles episode "Shadow of Evil". It was originally an ordinary magpie that pecked at a fallen Oozesquito, which exposed it to Baron Draxum's mutagen and caused its body to mutate. The mutation gave it a more humanoid appearance, with more human-like legs and wings with arms and fingers.
The magpie followed the Turtle Tank through the streets of New York City, and snatched Donatello off the top of the vehicle. The other Mad Dogs pursued it, even clinging to its body as it flew. Eventually Donatello ordered them to start plucking the magpie's feathers, causing it to plummet to the ground. It was last seen dazed and completely without its feathers.
Unlike other mutants seen in Rise of the TMNT, the mutant magpie does not seem to have human-like intelligence.
