The Museum of Art and Framing is a location in Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

Description[]

The Museum of Art and Framing is a museum located in New York City. It features an occult devices exhibit which houses the First Witch.

History[]

The Museum of Art and Framing debuted in "Stuck on You". After receiving a notification from Donatello's laboratory computer, the Turtles decided to respond the art thievery crime taking place at the museum after its active hours. Upon arrival at the museum's main hall, the Turtles accidentally destroyed its entire statue display and discovered several mutant silverfish. Hypno-Potamus arrived in the museum soon after along with Foot Lieutenant and Foot Brute and Warren Stone. The Turtles argued over what villains to prioritize before Raphael decided that they should neutralize the silverfish threat first. After accomplishing that, they then pursued Hypno who had entered the occult devices exhibit with the intention to use the First Witch to revive Doug. He hypnotized Raph after the Turtles confronted him, but was defeated by them once he was struck into a wall. The Turtles then confronted the Foot Clan who sought to steal a gauntlet from the museum, but they were attacked by Foot Brute whose attack broke their team-building ball. The Turtles then used Warren's body to reconstruct the ball and forced the Foot Lieutenant and Foot Brute back through their portal, defeating them. After being freed from the ball, Warren noticed the gauntlet that the Foot accidentally left behind and donned it as his new weapon.

The Museum of Art and Framing was depicted in "The Mutant Menace" as Baxter Stockboy complied all of the Turtles' destructive misadventures up to that point and shared them online.

The Museum of Art and Framing reappeared in "Many Unhappy Returns". Splinter and the Mad Dogs tried to fight the Shredder inside it and the New York Police Department arrived. The Shredder teleported away before he could land his finishing blow upon them. Splinter and Leonardo soon after teleported from the Museum of Art and Framing to the Grand Nexus Hotel.
