[Opening sequence and theme song.]

[Open outside Tropotron Labs. Bebop and Rocksteady struggle to unlock the door.]

Shredder "Hurry up, you two. Get the door open."

Rocksteady "Ooh, we're tryin', boss."

Bebop "Well, yeah. But Krang's door-opening gizmo won't work."

[He taps a button on the device and sparks fly.]

Bebop and Rocksteady "Ooh!"

Shredder "Wonderful. Another technical achievement.
[He takes out his Comlink.]

Krang, this is Shredder.
"

[In the Technodrome.]

Krang "What is it now, Shredder? Have you found the mutagen?"

Shredder "No. We can't even get into Tropotron Labs. Your door-opener won't work."

Krang "If I had intelligent help, I wouldn't need such devices. Use your head!"

Shredder "You heard him, Rocksteady. Use your head."

Rocksteady "Right, boss.
[With a roar, he bashes open the door with his head.]

Ow! Oh, I hope you remember this when you're thinking about my holiday bonus.
"

Shredder "Never mind that. Just go find that Compound X-7."

Rocksteady "Sure thing, boss. Uh, what's "Compound X-7"?"

Shredder "It's a top-secret, experimental mutagen that Krang thinks will counteract the mutation of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and turn them back into tiny little turtles."

Rocksteady "What a neat idea!"

Bebop "Uh, yeah. If the Turtles was tiny, we could probably whip 'em."

[In the alley next to the lab building, two garbage collectors examine trash.]

Garson Grunge "Hey, Joe! What do you think this stuff is?"

Joe Junkee "Hey. I'd say that's a fine example of week-old cauliflower, there, Garson."

Garson "No way! That's 10-day-old broccoli!"

Joe "Gee, you're nuts! And you call yourself a professional garbage man.
[Chuckles]

Sheesh.
"

[Pan up to a second floor window in the lab. The lights come on.]

Bebop "How are we supposed to know this stuff when we see it?"

Shredder "Simple. It will say "Compound X-7" on the label."

Bebop "Ooh, that'd be real helpful. Uh, if we could read."
